29/12/2015 18:34 | Does anyone know the proportion of O&G work within IND's revenue? I couldn't see it within the AR.SNX have certainly been affected on their systems side by O&G deferred or canx orders. It could explain the issue in H2 with the ME order..........unlik | cockerhoop
29/12/2015 18:16 | Rubbish. They have net cash. They are a cash generative business that returned surplus cash in prior years. If this was bought by a private equity group or a trade buyer they would no doubt add some leverage. I feel this will stay in the 180-210p range now until the final results or some other positive update. | topvest
29/12/2015 16:31 | hold and sell at 90p The (lack of) cash is a wory | rubberbullets
29/12/2015 14:18 | A fair summary by Paul Scott. At least he agrees with me, that probably not the time to sell. We will have to wait and see. | topvest
29/12/2015 09:36 | It should be noted that H2 sales are 18% down on weak comparables so are probably no better than flat on the 1st 6 months. It's pretty hard to be accurate though with the change in year end and reporting currency. | cockerhoop
29/12/2015 08:25 | Yes, very disappointing indeed, after the September update where they said they would "comfortably exceed". This has burnt me a little as I doubled-up on that announcement which wasn't actually as cautious as it sounded. There is not much positive news to grab hold of in this RNS, other than stabilising profitability and working capital management. They haven't said anything positive about 2016 or the order book. The miss seems to be due to a delay in a major project which has, maybe, hit their bottom line by $1M or so. They could have said that this has been deferred into 2016 but didn't. That's probably correct until its shipped otherwise they will end up with another possible u-turn on the same order. Suspect that means no dividend / a nominal dividend this year. Bit naughty leaving the RNS this late, but maybe they were hoping for some extra sales before the year-end. Nevertheless, hopefully things will bounce back at some point. Still on a £15m market capitalisation this now looks very exposed to a bid. The shares are trading at book value. They do have a quality business, have no debt and a management team that have recently lost a bit of credibility. Could even see management trying a sneaky MBO at £2.50 or something now. Hopefully not as there is no reason that they can't get their sales back to where they were 18 months or so ago. Patience needed as still think this is worth double the market capitalisation (at least) in a better year. 2015 was clearly a year to forget for IndigoVision! | topvest

14/12/2015 20:40 | One interesting thing about top 50 table linked in the above article is how lumpy revenue seems to be across most of the industry, not just IndigoVision. The biggest revenue decliner was SYNECTICS (Systems Division) with -28.8%, moving down 10 rankings from 30 to 40. This is the only other UK company in the top 50 table. Rankings are based on revenue growth/decline. There's a drop-down box in the top-right corner to compare previous years. US giant Honeywell has been ranked #1 since 2009, its annual revenue then was $2,300m. At that time, China's Hikvision had revenue of just $329m, but they've consistently had stonking good revenue growth; 2011: 71.6%, 2012: 45.1%, 2013: 35.6%, 2014: 50%, 2015: 57.5%, it looks certain Hikvision will finally knock Honeywell off the top spot next year. | exotic
14/12/2015 20:25 | indigoVision Achieves [its] Highest Ever "Security 50" Ranking 14 DEC 2015 "Security Industry publication, AS Magazine, announced it's annual "Security 50", ranking the top 50 security manufacturers across all geographies and disciplines; Video Surveillance, Access Control, Multiple, based on annual revenue. This year, IndigoVision moved up five places to be ranked 35 in the overall Security 50 list and ranked 16 for Video Surveillance, the highest ranking IndigoVision has achieved for both categories. IndigoVision was also ranked number 1 UK headquartered security manufacturer - in any category. Read the full list here." | exotic
09/12/2015 22:06 | Very interesting article in the News section of the IND website: Written by Paul Murphy, his bio is at the bottom with a contact form to reply to him. Good to see IND evolving, opening up, and importantly - looking ahead. One snippet in there regarding ASIS (the security exhibition in California earlier this year): "ASIS also recognised our BWV [Body Worn Video] as part of their "Security's Best" awards. The article / white paper is certainly worth a read. | exotic
09/12/2015 21:01 | Bodes well. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that H2 trading has been very strong. It's that sort of business. Sales undershoot massively and then overshoot massively. | topvest
09/12/2015 15:51 | Indeed someone is trying to accumulate - no problem selling but have to pay 222 for £500 squids worth. | nimbo1

04/12/2015 12:13 | IndigoVision user Owen Key was recently featured in Security Magazine's Security 500 report, where enterprise security directors are recognised for their achievements. "As the Chief Security Officer and Chief Information Security Officer for The City of Calgary, Owen Key’s favorite part of working in the government sector is the variety of his work. “I’ve also worked for both the police service in New Zealand and the private sector here in Canada, and the variety of work extends from looking after water and waste water treatment plants to the full transit system we have here,” Key says. “We have roads, golf courses, community-enabled services, including youth probation, recreation centers and arenas. You name it, we do it.” | aishah

02/12/2015 10:35 | Techinvest comments last month post half year results (@214.5p): "A disappointing half year. However, investors will take some comfort from the outlook for the rest of the year. The ability to adjust overheads in response to business activity is also a positive. With the shares at this level, the Company may also be vulnerable to a takeover approach. Hold" | aishah

19/11/2015 20:00 | This company have some really good products. They have said that H2 is strong. Hopefully, they will carry some strong momentum into next year and, maybe, surprise on the upside (as they did on the downside last year). | topvest
19/11/2015 14:02 | Has there been that many sells? Maybe we'll get another RNS as somebody else must have sold a chunk. | iain123
19/11/2015 13:02 | RNS says they went from 0 to 418,214 (5%) on 16/11/2015. Can't find the actual trade(s), but then trades data has never been reliable. Anyway, it seems they've been picking up all the recent sells and therefore we have strong support at £2. | exotic |
