20/11/2014 01:18 | Another profit warning, arrrggghhh!! As a 10-year holder, I've lost count of the number of profit warnings. If you hold this share, you just have to accept that it has lumpy sales, and every now and then they have a disappointing quarter. The market cap reflects that. It's cheap, and you get a decent divi yield & the downside is protected by a very strong Bal Sheet. I was feeling more confident earlier this year, when the outlook was good, at 500p per share. So now the outlook is less positive, and the share has dropped to 380p, that looks about right to me. £29m market cap, with a great Bal Sheet. Selling globally, it's good value. That's about the same mkt cap as £SRT, which may or may not deliver sales. Similar mkt cap to BLUR, which is losing money hand over fist. Or you can have Earthport, which has haemorraged cash since day one, and is worth about 10 times this. £30m market cap will buy you any number of daft story stocks on AIM. This one makes a profit every year, and pays a decent divi. Good company, good management, nice divis, strong Bal Sheet. Disappointing short term trading update. Cheap valuation. That's where we are. Regards, Paul. | paulypilot

16/11/2014 13:57 | 14 November 2014 Shocking Survey Results: If the Public Won’t Report Suspicious Behaviour, Do We Need Cameras That Will? A survey commissioned by the upcoming Transport Security Expo asked 2000 people across the UK how they would respond if they noticed “odd occurrences at a neighbouring house or vehicle”. The shocking results showed that nearly a quarter of those polled would do nothing. Can the general public change, or do we need more intelligent cameras using video analytics to report suspicious behaviour? Traditionally, video analytics have required additional server hardware to carry out video content analysis, making it an expensive option and preventing widespread deployment. However, this intelligence is now available in the camera, reducing costs significantly. “Over the last five years the core functions of analytics have remained largely the same but the main difference is the increased processing power and the movement of analytics from back-end servers to those running ‘at the edge’, in other words, inside the actual cameras.” explains Tom Frame, IndigoVision’s System Architect in this interview with Professional Security Magazine. IndigoVision will be showcasing its intelligent cameras at the Transport Security Expo, which is being held at the London Olympia on the 2nd-3rd December. 16/11/2014 13:53 | 12 November 2014 IndigoVision’s Ultra 5K Chosen For Rapid Deployment Monitoring IndigoVision’s Ultra 5K, the first ultra-high resolution camera to deliver outstanding image detail and video performance, has been chosen by a high-profile European city as part of their rapid deployment, mobile security system. The Ultra 5K’s 20 megapixel resolution gives incredible image detail and wider scene coverage from a single camera and its low light performance made it ideal for mobile monitoring of high risk areas or major events. As the Ultra 5K is completely integrated with IndigoVision’s Control Center Intrepid video management software, this type of mobile security system can work independently or fully integrated with the city-wide video security system. 12/11/2014 14:09 | I think a similar situation occurred with Canada. It was the star performer for a considerable time, but when Canada finally took a breather IND was obliged to announce it, and the market took it very badly. Latin America and Asia Pacific have been the most recent star performers. A slowing there was always inevitable, but the timing can never be easy to forecast. At this moment, sales in Latin America and Asia Pacific have been below expectations for only 3 months out of the 17 month period. So, star performer Latin America and Asia Pacific still enjoyed 12 months of sales growth. In all the other non-star performer regions growth continues on track. Crucially for me, that includes North America. | exotic
