That looks interesting VNP.

Unfortunately, I'm maxed out at the moment & there won't be any new cash purchases for a while. If I bought, I'd have to sell something else to fund the deal. My biggest holding is IMD & I don't envisage selling any in the short term.

I'll bear it in mind though & add it to my watch list.

Hi Again Larouse

Larouse have a look at a company called Lidco (LID) I brought in at 12p they are now about 17p. There interim results were last week and there sales were up 70%, they are still losing money but should start to make money next year, they have very good products. A very good friend gave me the tip about 4 weeks back and showed me reports from two big brokers that say they could be 70p in 3 years or less. Please take a look and see what you think. Check out the results and you could get lucky.

Hastings, Robinbell and Sir Walter you have a look to.

Sir Walter there is a very good storey here methinks

Thanks for your post; your thoughts are very interesting. These are my thoughts. IMD is a young company only been listed 18 months. The first 6 months they released news about trails with MTV for sending videos, which was, as we know, successful. A year on and these are now generating revenue. The new trails for mainstream television and I quote (which requires expensive reception equipment at each destination together with very substantial telecom bandwidth). If these are successful then future growth will run into many millions of pounds. Once this has been established then I can't see any reason why they can't set up in any other country.

If a large media company came along to gobble it up, I think (and I am not greedy person) we could be looking 80 – 100 million, they certainly haven't nearly anywhere reached their peak as yet.

There is a misquote in todays Investors Chronicle

It states the sales for July/August were 25% of the comparative period instead of up 25%.

I believe this may be the reason for todays fall.

Your explanation certainly makes more sense, but that 63k trade is the worry. Would someone make a 30 odd thousand pound trade on the back of IC small print ?

Did they have much else to say (in the mag) ?

If it drops any further today, then I may contradict myself & dip in.

Hi all

Had a look at the results again at the weekend and decided to dig deep this morning and top up with some more, soon be up to a 1% holding (I wish). Like the look of the advertising angle and also the 25% in exsess Sales increase for July/August. Should see another 10 to 15% rise before year-end. Is there anybody else there apart from Hastings and Sir Walter hi guys or dolls! Must go now its dinners.

PS Just keep topping up you no it makes sense.

Sir Walt, Hastings, you have said between you every thing I have thought about the results, apart from the forward PER from Hastings. They always tag a little something on the bottom to wet your appetite. Will hold these shares for a few years or until somebody buys them out, but will be at a great premium for lots of £££ per share.I shall copy and paste the results so when you fill down you can look back at them and cheer yourself up. * Interim Dividend increase to 0.55p up 22%

Neither did I, but it's good to see that the pipe & ray-bans found a safe home after returning to the Phillipines.

Yes I am bored.

Last line of the RNS release that came with the full year results - "Further plans for the expansion of TV services will be reported on in the half-year report".

Something else to look for in the notice this week...
