Some support with buying on the up. Does anyone know if there is any positive news on the way? |
Well they used much higher doses in animal models which worked. From memory Muller was talking about the human clinical data and my information was there was a problem with the 1000 ug dose which allegedly precipitated when injected. So if true, no doubt that is the reason why the higher dose didn’t work…. |
Well if you look back several years Professor Muller stated threat in the tests higher doses showed less efficacy |
So IV not SC in the new study because they need to get multiples higher of the blood concentration. That has been my mantra all the way through but I have to admit I’m surprised they have felt the need to go IV. That makes the drug less usable and less tolerable for patients so is a big negative in my book. Why not go for multiple injections if they can’t get the concentration high enough in the syringe.
Anyway the bottom line is they would have saved themselves many years of wasted time if they had listened to me…. |
Out of the SVB mess those companies that are strong with an ' in demand' product will triumph
Keep an eye on the light at the end of this SVB saga Tunnel.
The strong will survive and thrive ! |
johneee - the latter methinks. At least until we’ve significant further news on trial timelines. |
has this hit the bottom and ready to explode upwards?
Or languishing for a while......gathering dust? |
Bobby knows his onions and knows the price history of this fiasco. I met Tim back in the day who was super confident and f all materialised... |
Nobs-fed up with your constant negative attitude. Obviously this is a punt rather than an investment. Clearly there is a very significant risk that any money gambled will be totally lost. However, at these levels the upside could be huge from say-5 to 20 bagger or more.
All we can do is wait and see-3 years is not a long time scale to wait for that sort of return.
That's all-more next year! |
If you think 3 years is close then yeah… |
Any drug development takes time. All hangs on Global partners helping to smooth the road to rollout After all this work Immupharma is the closest it has ever been to glory--Hang on in there |
The Drug is on fast status approval so Stage two is linked to stage 3. |
How long phase 2 will take... |
3 years???? |
Have to Say Nobbygnome pointed at several unknowns and facts regarding IMM on the trail , for myself well down on but 50% but was speculative and always will be. In the end 1 year to 3 years if approved looking at 1000% gain , will that happen maybe or not. Then other stocks invested have gained ten fold which on balance is as a whole positive in investing in stocks. High Risk - high rewards - High Risk - Loss of investment nearly This is not a day traders investment |
Good point. Avion were sold a turkey although of course they didn’t pay anything up front for that reason. Nevertheless they must already have spent quite a lot on consultants and the bill for the trial just went up substantially from what they expected! |
unless they also require them to now put up some cash as really all they have is phase 1 data and limited phase 2 data. Hardly phase 3 ready. |
Well sort of. At least the trial looks like it will go ahead….but there won’t be any significant results for 3 years plus. Meanwhile McCarthy et al will continue to trouser their salaries whilst not a lot happens. Lots of talk about other indications and other projects but nothing ever comes to fruition….at least so far |
Isnt this good news for imm? |
It all depends on the site of action wrt what concentration is required. This was always one of the most troubling factors to me because Muller changer her theory about where the drug worked. The publications talked about lymphoid organs such as spleen whereas in a personal communication she changed that to the injection site. For me the latter is just not credible but could explain why they went with the low dose, the point being that is the only place where the drug concentration could possibly be high enough to have any chance of working! The problem is then you are trying to say the drug will have a systemic effect when it’s only available to a few cells at the injection site, which is helluva stretch for me… |
Thanks. It's certainly an interesting story... |
Yep, from memory you need roughly 50 fold more drug to equal the drug concentration required in mice and for in vitro human cell experiments. |
But surely that's still a long way short of the mouse dose? |
I have looked back and indeed 1000 ug monthly is the highest dose. However they have also done 200 every 2 weeks which I had forgotten. I would love to be able to see all the data and discover why on earth they went with 200 monthly….. |
