And the dubious honour of paying the highest price today so far (15), goes to me :-(

At least it made the price tick up! :-)

What a promising scene at the moment. With yesterday's astute acquisition and today's director purchase, the company is showing great promise. Seems that what is missing is awareness of this stock. Will the two successive news items together ensure coverage in the wider media?

Just remember that low P/E's are sometimes warrented bacause of inherent cmopany difficulties......

Sorry - off topic, but if you're looking for low p/es, PUG is even lower. 33p at the off this morning and they've just announced 6.8p for the interims to June. Debt's high but manageable IMO. Bridgewell have a significant stake in them - bought at much higher prices.

In-store music provider Imagesound has snapped up one of its partners, Impact Automedia, in order to broaden its offering.

The group, which counts Superdrug, Yates, B&Q and Kwik Save among its customers, has acquired Impact Automedia from Clydebroadcast Products.

Impact provides audio production and instore retail audio and visual services from a purpose built studio complex in Clydebank, to clients such as Royal Bank of Scotland and Toyota.

Executive Chairman Derek Mapp said, "Impact is a business we know well, as they already provide Imagesound with production services for several of our clients."

Imagesound added that whilst the immediate financial impact of the acquisition will be minimal, it expects the deal to be earnings enhancing for the year to December 2007.

Usual suspects aboard this one, I have read the posts above and think that we now have a forward PE multiple of under 5. If any one can find a cheaper share than this step forward now.

Good luck holders.

Have to fess up that I originally bought this with the intention of making a fast buck in the run up to results. But I held, first cos as CR pointed out, the way the results were presented, I don't think the market appreciated the true earnings, and second and more importantly, I increasingly like its medium term potential, especially with shrewd moves like today's appears to be. Seems to be undervalued, and one day this should be corrected.

If Impact isn't core to Clyde's business then just getting rid of it reduces their outgoings.

Yep, it migh be valuable to ISD but it's about who's the keenest to deal. There can't be a wealth of companies looking to buy Impact so ISD probably have Clyde over a barrel if they want to get rid of it and not face all the redundancy costs, compensation for ending contracts etc.

ISD have bought very well so far imo, last years two buys look like they've been very enhancing.
