Image Scan do now have a Director "introduced by" by Rise Step - the biggest shareholder - on the board. So presumably Rise Step are now supportive of plans to expand by appropriate acquisitions,

Apart from the obvious strong trading, cash and sales, what I also take from the accompanying statement is that the company potentially has the support of major shareholders for future decisions .Not having that in the past has really held image scan back and was initially responsible for the drop back from 6P. So if that obstacle is now cleared it bodes very well.

Money in the bank, orders coming in. all looking good, but like other unloved UK small fry paddling like mad to keep the share price above zero. Maybe it will stay above 2p this time. Would be nice if it reached breakeven for me which is 2.33p. As I hold 1% of the shares thats a nice thought. Maybe in a year or so if they keep paddling furiously they may think about a divided...0.1p a year would do nicely. But have been here before!
I keep auto trade sales at 4p and 5p for a few shares just in case the price goes up to where it should be. Wishful thinking I know but I am an eternal optomist, But as a very long term holder I live in hope.

Just seems to have fallen back along with seems like a general lack of market interest at present.

Not much to comment about regarding the company until the next RNS.

Looks good value as an entry point for anyone new though,

Interims in about 5 weeks should suggest how the future is looking. Certainly not expecting anything less than a return to profit.

Couple of interesting and pertinent points to take from the trading update. One they appear to be predicting a return to profit this financial year and that is backed up by the Broker note who reiterate fair value at 5p. Secondly, a subtle reference to improved relations with the shareholder base can only mean more cooperation from their principal shareholder with a view to future corporate actions.
Big gap to 5p from here!!
