come on folks, sure you can try harder to rubbish this share, really put the boot in. I would like to buy a few, I would like it to go to 1.8p. I am happy to buy any you dont want, sell sell sell. |
Never fails to dissapoint. Hopeless and I feel misled yer again |
What is worrying is that they are looking for acquistions, when they are unable to even grow and forecast a profit. They go so far as to state it in bold type.
More likely, they are hoping someone buys them in an RTO as their potential is depended on a limited range of products.
"Our strategic plans, including exploration of potential acquisitions, are at the forefront of our ambitions and will position us for operational resilience, competitive strength and sustained growth." |
Yes they haven't delivered and that's the problem with UK companies in the end . A failure to gain traction In a bigger market m they go chasing dreams with promising tech but fail to get the sales and penetration required. Back to sub 2 p here im afraid |
My 20 plus year history here can be broken up into about 40 six month chunks, the majority of which were optimistically anticipated then realistically disappointing. |
Yes, disappointing. |
Yes, disappointing. |
Not a good update slow orders and progress probably a 25% fall coming on that news . |
IGE news dated 30th January - in the latest issue of Counter IED Report the CEO Vince Deery outlines some of the emerging IED threats, highlighting IGE's 3DX-Ray ThreatScan device and software: |
£7.5k of buys have caused a nice mark-up today. There can't be much stock around. Certainly the latest buy was at the full 3.1p offer price. |
Nice buy of 327,868 shares at 3.15p just reported. |
 New orders announced for Threatscan:
"January 9, 2025
3DX-RAY announce the sale of additional ThreatScan®units at Intersec, Dubai, 2025
3DX-RAY Ltd have announced at Intersec the sale of a follow-on order for a ThreatScan® system for EOD operations in Ukraine. This sale is a double-digit order from an unnamed customer for units deployed on operations in that conflict zone.
Of the ThreatScan® systems on show this year is the 3DX-RAY ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) portable X-Ray System and the latest AS2 panel.
ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) is a robust amorphous silicon portable x-ray inspection system. It comprises, as standard, a detector panel with an imaging area of 430mm x 347mm, a new high penetration 150kV generator, and a laptop along with batteries, chargers, the user-friendly ThreatSpect software, wireless communication and transport case.
The system is fully integrated, with a primary display, computer, communications and power supplies consolidated into a single, waterproof rugged case. A secondary display tablet offers high flexibility in deployment to meet the wide variety of user applications and threat scenarios.
The combination of technologies used in ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) offers exceptional x-ray imaging performance, 3DX-RAY’s renowned advanced materials discrimination, and sophisticated image processing software.
ThreatScan®- AS2 is a smaller panel with all the benefits of its larger counterparts, but is specifically designed for use in restricted spaces, such as under car seats, in drawers or between panels and shelves.
These systems are ideal for the EOD community as well as border agencies, police and security services for the inspection of suspect bags and packages in locations such as mass transit rail and bus stations, shopping malls, airports, stadia and sports arenas.
3DX-RAY will also be promoting their AXIS™-CXi, a cabinet-based x-ray system for screening mail, parcels and small baggage for potentially harmful items and contraband. It is a mobile unit so can be relocated easily within buildings. The CXi is unique in offering the 3DX-RAY’s aviation standard materials imaging capability in a mail screening cabinet scenario." |
I agree Assagi. I enjoyed a good chat with Vincent at Mello in Derby. He struck me as understated and sensible, focussed, and he did stress an "under promise and over deliver" approach to life, which I wholly endorse!
I was particularly encouraged at the potential level of operational gearing we might enjoy if sales do perform, and gained a sense that they could manage a higher workload without a proportionate increase in costs. They have done a very good job of controlling costs here so far.
I also thought the orders won last year was a very encouraging number indeed, which augers well for the year ahead. By my calcs I believe orders won were £5.5m in the second half of last year. Obviously that includes the " £3m biggie", but even aside from that, winning a further £2.5m on top of that in a half year alone, and in the context of a Sales forecast of £3.5m for FY25.....it looks very beatable.
Is it possible that we see sales well above £4m this year, and with a nice drop through of the additional sales into additional profit....given a Gross Margin of mid fifties and tightly controlled costs? |
I think it highly unlikely that IGE share price will be less than 50% higher end of 2025. Those large contracts making their way to the bottom line must suggest a re rate and hopefully better PR along the way. Any additional reasonable sales and I'm looking for 5p. Which in all fairness is where we were before the failed merger and with a much stronger company behind us. |
Good results and terrific outlook. IGE seems to be very much under the radar at present, but that should change with another order RNS or the next AGM statement, likely at the end of February.
Zeus has a 3.8p target price. They note that results were nearly 10% ahead of their forecasts. They forecast 0.22p EPS this year to 30/9/25, with the cash pile increasing to £1.2m against the £3.7m m/cap.
With the order book up to £4.47m from £0.65m, and the order intake up to £6.6m from £2.9m, and as ivyhedge says above with global conflicts and terrorism threats ever-increasing to IGE's benefit, the company has every chance of continuing its ascendancy. |
35% of the share cap is in cash or tradeables.Order book is looking healthy and the worlds conflicts make its products ever more in demand. Think a lot of companies would envy that type of position. I am impressed this management has held everything together. Over the years they managed to get it wrong but it seems they are on a even keel now. I will admit the share price wont matter as my 1% holding isnt going anywhere. Maybe in five years time when this one has made a very good impression and started paying dividends I will be very happy. |
hope share price will go up on these results |

Great to see a confident and nicely in-line year end trading statement given these markets.
IGE has maintained a broadly stable almost £1m cash pile, and has doubled PBT to £0.2m.
Most importantly, given the huge rise in the order book to £4.5m from a mere £0.65m a year ago, and the large £3m contract win underpinning revenues for the coming two years, the outlook is very bullish:
"Vince Deery, Chief Executive of Image Scan, commented: "I am extremely pleased with the Group's performance in FY24. We have not only achieved a significant increase in profitability but also maintained a strong cash position. The recent contract awards with European defence partners positions us well in the marketplace and gives us confidence for future growth in FY25 and beyond." |
I agree pru dent so i reckon that sell of 100k is badly timed. |
Noticed a few buys trickle in towards close.Trading update must be next week and expect that will be launch pad for next leg up. |
