QS valuation now $35bn ie 200x greater than IKA. Are they really that far ahead ?

Not yet I think but if Apple really wants to move ahead then LFP technology isn't really the solution - they need to utilise SSB's. Ilika need to recognise the opportunity that they have to get into the EV market. Management need to change their mindset ... ambition is all just look at QuantumScape

re... but pulling a few percent i don’t see as an issue

exactly my point,.....a mere balancing exercise to remain within their mandate...no one holding in excess of 10%......

Strange comment... after the year IKA's had I'm sure there's a few people / funds booking some profits ... fact that you have them offloading and price stability surely tells you there's a fair few new investors looking at this one.If they reduce to zero, then not great, but pulling a few percent i don't see as an issue

And yet the price is holding up. That means there are plenty of buyers too. It's damn difficult to buy a meaningful volume so MM's don't appear to have too much stock

Well they sure love SSB's over the pond. QuantumScape now $30bn market cap ie more than 150x Ilika. They or someone else could snap up Ilika for relatively peanuts.

70 times zero is zero...but I'm sure they will do better than that!

What concerns me is their decision to manufacture in-house. Fixed costs will rise dramatically. That is inevitable. Will sales revenue keep pace?

They have 367,000 of non-grant revenue... I was guessing this must be Stereax sales. But probably one off prototypes, hence my hesitation in simply saying that x 70

I dont think the company has reported a single sale yet, so any revenue forecast is an act of faith, imho. Still holding ...

Does anyone have any analyst estimates for 2022 or 23 revenue? Using their 70x ramp up of non-grant revenues gets me to 25m. However I'm guessing they're not producing in current state at 100%, as there's no inventory on balance sheet at year end.. just trying to get an idea of what revenues will look like in 2 years for the Stereax alone ...

It's hotting up in the SSB world. QuantumScape and Solid Power both releasing performance data and plenty of $$$ being invested. Ilika will have to raise their ambitions or get left behind. I expect performance data to emerge and maybe some strategic developments at the January results announcement. Whilst grants and the UKBIC are fantastic, Ilika need a deep pocketed partner to really stay in the EV race

Do we still have a partnership with Toyota?

To my knowledge Ilika has not had any formal relationship with Toyota for several years now. The initial relationship started in 2008 and lasted three years. However, they may have informal links.
