Yes it will. Locals will say yes to conditional planning when they're offered the bung and then it'll be too late.

Sadly Labour’s attempt to defeat Government on #fracking fails - 230 for their motion, 326 against. So this climate-wrecking, earthquake-triggering, ideologically-driven, deeply unpopular, fracking fantasy lives another day - but if local consent means anything, it can’t happen

Actually you are completely wrong. The vote is not whether or not to lift the moratorium but to pass a bill allowing the opposition to challenge the new bill once the moratorium is lifted... therefore if the opposition win this evening nothing changes to the current laws as fracking is already outlawed, so business carrys on as usual for IGAS with they're conventional profits rolling in. However if the opposition lose against the government they cannot challenge the moratorium whatsoever and the UK starts ramping up its domestic O&G production, and IGAS have already cornered much of the UKs onshore acerage with 300 or so licences and have the backing of Ineos and the big banks on the shareholder register :)

All old news. The government have allowed fracking in England and either way this is making a profit. Will bounce hard once all the bet wetters are gone

There is a vote tonight on a Labour bill to permanently ban "fracking". Of course this is really just an attempt to bring the govt down. I couldn't say which way it will go.

Looking at Twitter related to this I am appalled to live in a country seemingly entirely populated by idiots. It is completely one-sided.

Heading to 20p as the governments pledge to frac won't help igas as people will not approve it. Hope anyone holding sold into the spike because it will be a long wait before it ever gets up there again if ever .

Bet loads held on and got trapped not selling being greedy . You can tell who those are by how desperately they are trying to ramp this now lol

Environmental catastrophe, lol, you think running hundreds of thousands of wood burners instead is better for the environment than fracked gas. You are a Luddite, who wants to see their country in the dark ages.Did you know all the old coal mines over the UK are parks. Muppet.
