I think the Hirwaun site is the one referred to by IGR in its results. ie the one with the 5 year option to buy at £2.4m.

I think I read somewhere that although Hirwaun now have permission they also have to secure the financing for the project to go ahead.

An eventual sale then would seemingly lead to £2.4m being received for an asset with a £0.8m net book value and hence £1.6m gain on disposal although the £0.1m a year Premium income would then stop.

So perhaps not a major gain although the company does refer to it being "part" of the site. Whether this "part" is the majority or minority portion of the whole site I have no idea - our man t2r may have the answer.

No news again this morning and agree that shareholders are being left in the dark a little here.

Might be time for a hot wire to the company to find out whats going on if anyone is closer to the company than me?

The application for Hirwaun Power Station has been granted development consent by the Secretary of State.

Now lets see what we get from our land sale...

For anyone not au fait with the significance of time 2 retire's post no. 1984, it is worth putting the word 'Hirwaun' in the search box in the top left hand corner of this thread. The posts it brings up provide a fast-track to its importance.

In summary, a favourable outcome to something already recommended will add money to the bottom line - arguably not yet factored into the share price.

Where do you get the 16p forecast from cfro?

I see consensus forecasts from Edison and Cenkos of 12.05p for 2016 and 12.6p for 2017.

Next years earnings are forecasted to be 16p, so forward pe of only 10.

Also worth keeping in mind a planned acquisition into the US. Any announcement on this front, which will surely be earnings enhancing, should have a nice positive effect to both earnings and the share price

I have to hold up my hand. I did sell out a few at 161p. The shares have trebled for me and I wanted to take a bit of money off the table. A friend of mine has also sold a few. Think of it as adding liquidity to the market ;-))

Another strong performance today, up 6% so far. Noticed that there has been some selling in the last hour, but hardly affects the sp, which indicates that someone is keen to take all the sells imo.

Not yet a while, I hope. If we assume EPS of 13p for the current year and a forward pe of just 12, then we have the current share price on a very modest rating with no upgrade or stretch earnings target. Room for a bit more, I reckon.
