Hi all, I think the dividend has been cut in order to reduce debt because the cost of borrowing has gone up substantially in the past few months due to overall steep rise in interest rates. This I feel is a smart decision. Regarding the current share price, it does not reflect the fundamentals of the business. Although the share price is painful to watch, it's only because of the lack of liquidity brought about by the delisting. If an investor does not care about liquidity and happy to hold for the long term then these things should not worry us too much. As Buffett had famously said many years ago about his shareholding in Coca Cola - even if they delist the company I wouldn't be worried.

The annual report came in the traditional snail mail.
I suspect the lack of a dividend is to discourage private shareholders.
As an idiot the report at over 400p I am most reluctant to sell a company that is doing better at a very silly price.

Usually Anil and the employees with shares depend on the dividend so I am surprised it is to be cut completely

The annual general meeting will be held in Guernsey at Saint Martin's House, Saint Peter Port on 7 November at 12:30 PM. The ordinary business will be:
1 to receive and adopt the financial statements along with the report of the Directors for the year ending 31st of March 2023.
2 to reappoint Grant Thornton's auditors
3 to reappoint Mr Anil Aggarwal as a Director of the Company.

I received the report and accounts this morning. The results actually are perfectly satisfactory in the comment about the dividend states:
"the financial results are encouraging given the backdrop of the Global Economy, rising interest rates and the uncertainty faced in some areas due to potential recession in the US and Europe. Considering these factors, the board is of the view that the company should conserve cash and not declare a final dividend."

Got a notification from my broker (Interactive Investor) this morning to vote before the upcoming AGM on 1st November. 3 questions were;

- To receive a copy of financial statement for period ended 31/03/23
- To re-appoint the auditor
- To re-elect Mr Anil Aggarwal

No mention of a dividend being proposed/approved unfortunately.

Every Guernsey company must send its accounts, directors' report etc within 12 months after the end of the financial year - thus last date to release annual results is 30th March 2024 for the year ended 31st March 2023. Don’t hold your breathe :)

I've sort fo given up on the JP Jenkins matching facility. I did leave an order on to buy 250 shares with a price limit of 100p way above the apparent trading price ( zero trades I'd say but it's 56p) , so Nico, if you want to test the system,place a sell order in for 250 shares at a price you feel you want and we'll see if a bargain can be matched.
I note that JP Jenkins have just added Pelatro and Fulcrum to their matching bargain facility ...
I would like to know when IBPO has to publish accounts? Anyone any idea?
