FTSE100 & FTSE250 are about level, so are the vast majority of the European markets.Q4 results with the other impending news & coupled with soaring PoO should move us to the mid-20s.This is going to go in positive territories as soon as the market gets a sniff of the RNs been logged in.Gl all

assuming all of us living in US / UK still want to drive our cars and heat are homes - I3E will keep producing and we will keep consuming. the only thing changing is that I3E will earn more as the POO increases.

Big Oil companies share price holding very well & they might still have to participate in sanctions which might affect their balance sheet.In the case of i3e, the effect of the ramped-up tension is higher PoO which is positive & with no negative effects on our balance sheet.Some people will get the jetters & sell, however, they will be replaced very quickly by the researched.I am holding.Gl all

Why are folks worried about Russia invading Eastern UKRAINE? Russia has been in that country for 8 years since they invaded Crimea region of UKRAINE . This is nothing new but mass western hysteria for whatever reason

pretax, UK REITs mostly but watching i3e for falls following the very likely Ukraine invasion, HDIV, RECI, SMIF, might buy LGEN if it falls far enough. Its already over 6%. I am recently retired and will only invest in yield for the long term to supplement my pension. Boring and safe, sustainable dividends.

I am waiting to buy i3e and sqz again having sold all my sqz earlier. I think Putin will invade Ukraine using the excuse of being invited in by his newly recognised independent states in the east. I am about 50% cash myself and those I have remaining are big income paying stocks I am happy to hold thru any downturn.

Thing is that the Ukraine crisis will tend to cause 2 opposing forces. PoO will rise and equities will fall. That will make things difficult for all of us. Where will i3E shares end up? No idea.

I have sold some of my other holdings - so now 40% in cash. Not selling my i3E shares now around 40% up on weighted average purchase price.

It does feel like an operational update is due but I wonder if the delay (if we can call it that!) is linked to what they said in November about using leverage for acquisitions?

"We are very pleased to appoint Stifel, one of our sector's most active brokers, to raise our profile amongst current and potential equity investors. Additionally, and as previously stated, we expect to introduce a measured amount of leverage onto our balance sheet through which we would expand and accelerate the development of our Canadian assets and bolster the Company's ability to capture material inorganic opportunities as they arise. Carlingford, who i3 has very successfully relied upon previously, is best placed to assist us with this near-term undertaking."

Maybe they're waiting to tie in an update with something more exciting? Could be we get to hear about more Canadian assets or an update on Serenity, or both which would be very interesting!
