Atleast £50mln on conclusion of funding deal and 30th round awards imo.

No doubt I3E caught up in the general market malaise over the past few days.

Mcap just over £20m puts things in to perspective

"We look forward to updating our shareholders as agreements materialize"

Just a good old note keeping us informed that advanced negotiations are ongoing.
So we could have 2 or more agreements covering Liberator and 30th Round, which, could come at anytime now going by the wording. I think we'll hear something soon, so this is a buying opp for those with a long bias.

Although the RNS of 31st Jan didn't manage expectations too well for experienced board members.

That suggests to me that they might have more options open to them at present but that they may be dependent on the 30th round licences so they want to hold fire until they know their position and which option is best.

Either that or they've blown it completely and we are all off to Hell in a handcart!

But I prefer to believe the first option.

A mature RNS managing expectations. No change for me.

Buffy: "It’s interesting that people want to be kept informed, but when they are, they complain." Yep, sums it up nicely imo.....

It’s laughable people are trying to spin this as being negative... Showme spot on DYOR and you won’t be spooked by derampers who will be buying as the weak are selling today!

The key to today’s RNS is to read it properly couple of words are key....

To me it’s saying we are continuing to negotiate with more than one party on more than one agreement.

No more, no less.

It’s interesting that people want to be kept informed, but when they are, they complain.

The only thing I would prefer is that specific timeframes, such as 6-8 weeks, is not used. A simple comment, such as ‘we are in negotiations with several parties over a range of funding options, and we will inform you as soon as we are able’.

Look at Neill Carson's CV. Credible. Would he misled shareholders with this parting comment in the RNS?

Caters, I agree. It just creates unease and people will be spooked and sell. I guess you either trust the BoD with what they have done previously or you don't. I am not at all concerned as I suspected this may happen. I have not sold a single share as a result and won't be. I personally think funding is still on track, just taken a bit longer. $200m facility to a company with a market cap many times smaller is a huge facility and it's lawyers that tend to hold these things up, not the decision process.

I'm not overly worried. There maybe a down but will see that as an opportunity to add a few. It's no news at all really.

There will be weak and nervous holders...there always is...everyone expects everything to go to a pre-arranged loose timetable and frets when there is any perceived delay...depending on your understanding of the whole story here....

They are an experienced team with a great asset and multiple interested parties, government onside wanting maximum oil from North Sea....just a little more patience required imo...

Show me,That's kind of you to post that but this RNS doesn't say anything about time scales whereas the RNS of 31st Jan did. Now, we really don't know when this financing deal will happen.Last Autumn, they were hoping to be drilling in Spring '18. Timelines keep slipping and it's not looking very clever. They are better off being vague rather than saying by X or Y date and then missing those dates. It looks like they've taken that onboard with no Z date given in this RNS.

Guys, I spoke to Graham Heath a couple of weeks ago as I posted on here. In the RNS dated 31st Jan it says 6-8 weeks which expires on 28th March. I asked him if the funding packaged announced on 31st Jan was on track and he said it was but mentioned that they hope to make the stated timescales but it might go over slightly and they would announce that to the market in good time if it was the case. That is all they have done today.
