06/1/2019 11:45 | Although private equity may be lurking in the long grass, various references to the 'usual suspects ' and the Bleo Holm FPSO , suggest that Repsol and RRE are the two main potential partners . Pro and cons for each ,and though a market savvy type like Austin would be an asset to the I3E BoD , I fancy the clout of Repsol will win . My main hope is that there will be genuine competition with the focus being on the structure of the deal and in particular , how much equity is retained, | corgies2
05/1/2019 17:04 | The way forwards is a deal with some element of dilution involved. I think there is a small possibility of being picked up opportunistically by the likes of RRE (read their update from a few days ago), but think that is unlikely as management here would want a sum/value RRE would not be prepared to pay - they are the proverbial 'bottom-feeder'. Whichever way it goes, many are sitting on the sidelines just waiting for something to happen.I agree with a poster above who suggests it'll be a deal with the original 'party' in the talks (repsol-sinopec?). I do wonder how the FO process is going?Cash | cashandcard
04/1/2019 20:32 | Breakeven costs of $25 will make this even more attractive in a volatile oil price environment. Somewhat of a safe haven with low CAPEX in the North Sea, and large potential appraisal upside too. | duckdown
04/1/2019 20:26 | uk2day, let's take it step by step. I'm confident in my research but there is a reason why we have sunk as low as this. If the Bod can do some good PR leading up to funding we could well get to those levels but in all fairness I'm not really that bothered what the share price does pre funding. I'm keen to see what sort of deal the BoD can do to run Phase 1 this and next year but the most important thing for me is getting it fully funded. Then we are away and we will all make a lot of money on i3e. The last thing I am is pessimistic on i3e. | showme01
04/1/2019 18:20 | Lol,Very pessimistic showme01? Would be nice to get back to 60s-70s before funding arrives imo! | uk2day
04/1/2019 16:17 | Yes, be good to consolidate in the 40s and then 50s before funding news later this quarter. | showme01
