"I reckon NC fell out with Andrew Austin" - that may well have been a good thing.

I suspect GH will have had advanced discussions and offers in principle before banding about figures.

I reckon NC fell out with Andrew Austin when Repsol Sinopec gazumped RRE last year, which is probably partly the reason why he stepped down.

It makes sense for RRE to be involved, but it sounds like they've got interest from others too, including some larger companies.

Ever since I started buying these shares I was worried how rampy this board was. The fact that you assume I want to buy back in at a lower price is just a symptom of the same thing.

The prize is glittering, certainly, but there are only three steps on a podium, and the O&G sector is littered with great assets that never got developed. Money markets are tightening, you can't argue with that, and I do fear that MS just announced a shedload of debt as if it were a done deal, not something that might prove very hard to achieve.

I'd be looking at RRE, begorrah, they stand to gain most by sabotaging I3E.

Personally expect Repsol Sinopec to do the deal.

Also Rockrose Energy should be very interested given the synergies and potential extension of Tain.

FB? I'm sure you will forgive the rest of us if we feel unable to wish you well in your plan:- sell now and buy back at a lower price. You might well succeed, but I hope you don't.

Here's a hypothetical discussion point.

If I were someone like JCAM say and was party to debt negotiations to provide support such as I previously had, would it be in my interest to ensure the share price was suppressed by regular shapes dumped onto the book to quell any interest to ensure that any strike price I agreed on convertible bonds etc was advantageous?

Can we not chase off anyone who doesn't have a rampy opinion?

All views are welcome in my book as long as conveyed in a civil manner.

The question about the ability to get funding is a legitimate one as the share price will attest.

Agree Fardel much as I still support i3e and so think MS is doing far better job than previous incumbents, we do need some meat on the bones of his announcements soon. But he’s in hard place if he gives good news too early he gets criticised as nothings happening and if he doesn’t announce anything then we all moan that communication is bad,

I may well buy back in on a good funding deal. Just not happy with management right now. They look like two naughty schoolboys who have been caught smoking behind the bike sheds.

There are three types of people.

People who make things happen
People who watch things happen
And people who say, "What happened?"

I'm out. I don't believe these two will get any funding in this market. Those 10,000 buys are my sells.

The market needs stock. There will be an RNS soon regarding funding price will fly and MM will be short of stock.

I should wait 'til it's finished.

I don't consider 10.24% of the entire market cap to be a minor drop.
