08/10/2018 08:08 | That's right caters. A bit of a formal role, but one he carried out well. We chatted after, which was why I was late to the pub! | mr. t
08/10/2018 08:07 | So much for the rocket tomorrow morning lol | tsmith2
08/10/2018 08:07 | Blimey Four! Reserved for prammy, monte1 and Saul Goodman. | dunderheed
08/10/2018 08:06 | Mr T, Majid ran the AGM, didn't he? He was very good. | caters
08/10/2018 08:05 | GH has been careful not to take on the CEO role. Wise. NC has a load of stock. He will be as keen as anything to convert that into £££ | caters
08/10/2018 07:59 | I suspect that NC's departure has been driven from outside of i3 as GH and the management team seemed quite loyal to him. che7win is right - 'bob trader' knew about something last night and this morning seems very bullish (I cut out a load of retweets scores, etc, to just give the massage): Bob Trader: #i3e heard something I shouldn't have. i3e will rocket tomorrow morning... Wh0s: Doesn't look very positive to me... NC biting the bullet for failing to find funding? Bob Trader: yeah...just wait | caters
08/10/2018 07:56 | I spoke with Majid at the AGM and thought him competent, measured and positive on Liberator &i3e's team. His approach and background in energy investment banking could be helpful for securing funding imo. | mr. t
08/10/2018 07:55 | Buffy, whatever the reason, I certainly don't see is anything but positive. Same skill set around the boardroom table which has vast experience. Graham Heath is the one I rate here and as pleasant as Neill is, I agree his presentations are poor and he seems to let his enthusiasm override matters where GH is very to the point. The new CEO came over well at the AGM and his background is impressive. Onwards and upwards. | showme01
08/10/2018 07:53 | I like the RNS. New broom and all that and he must know what's going on. Why take the job if it's a poison chalice | a2584728
08/10/2018 07:52 | Bob trader on Twitter thinks some big news coming, maybe this is a prerequisite | che7win
08/10/2018 07:48 | I’ll be interested in showme’s view. As I stated previously I never warmed to him, and he was very poor at presentations; but then again, that’s not too relevant to what we needed him for. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/10/2018 07:47 | Changes in BOD historically are pre curser to JV , different skills needed to operate than to set up a company | ducati2345
08/10/2018 07:44 | Deal before Xmas imo. Good appointment there and could be related to the funding. | jungmana
08/10/2018 07:43 | Not disappointed with this change as wasn't impressed with NC fudging questions recently. However, I do wonder if this was a demand of the potential JV partner prior to completion. NC may well have ruffled somebody's feathers and had to go. Just speculation on my part of course..... | coscos
08/10/2018 07:42 | How can a deal be closer, we've been expecting one for months.............. Don't think it will happen this side of xmas now. | pooler1
08/10/2018 07:40 | Suggests something has given one way or the other imo. | 5chipper
08/10/2018 07:40 | If anything this suggests deal is closer, note operational director appointed too | ducati2345
08/10/2018 07:35 | I wasn't impressed with Neil's last presentation, he is a good guy but this is a very welcome move from me.I hope to speak to company later this week. | che7win
08/10/2018 07:35 | So no deal imminent then. | pooler1
08/10/2018 07:32 | Pleased with this change around. Very experienced team in place | muffster
08/10/2018 07:29 | Yes new ceo has a a lot of experience in investment banking so very confident he’s stepped up to thrash out the best deal for us and move us forward | brooko19
08/10/2018 07:26 | Perhaps a matter of 'if you don't jump, we'll push'. There's some emphasis on the new guy's deal-making experience, which is perhaps the skill set they need right now. | haideralifool
08/10/2018 07:25 | more appropriate skill set for the future. Also transitioning | tsmith2
08/10/2018 07:24 | Yer strange move that | reg1967
08/10/2018 07:21 | Neill Carson out then? Jumped or pushed? Things not quite going as they hoped? Any insight from those that know or who have met him? | henwii |
