That's right caters. A bit of a formal role, but one he carried out well. We chatted after, which was why I was late to the pub!

Mr T,

Majid ran the AGM, didn't he? He was very good.

GH has been careful not to take on the CEO role. Wise.

NC has a load of stock. He will be as keen as anything to convert that into £££; but certainly not at 77pps. I think he'll be frustrated but that he'll see the big picture.

I suspect that NC's departure has been driven from outside of i3 as GH and the management team seemed quite loyal to him.

che7win is right - 'bob trader' knew about something last night and this morning seems very bullish (I cut out a load of retweets scores, etc, to just give the massage):

Bob Trader:
#i3e heard something I shouldn't have. i3e will rocket tomorrow morning...

Wh0s:
Doesn't look very positive to me... NC biting the bullet for failing to find funding?

Bob Trader:
yeah...just wait

I spoke with Majid at the AGM and thought him competent, measured and positive on Liberator &i3e's team. His approach and background in energy investment banking could be helpful for securing funding imo.

Buffy, whatever the reason, I certainly don't see is anything but positive. Same skill set around the boardroom table which has vast experience. Graham Heath is the one I rate here and as pleasant as Neill is, I agree his presentations are poor and he seems to let his enthusiasm override matters where GH is very to the point. The new CEO came over well at the AGM and his background is impressive. Onwards and upwards.

I like the RNS. New broom and all that and he must know what's going on. Why take the job if it's a poison chalice

I’ll be interested in showme’s view.

As I stated previously I never warmed to him, and he was very poor at presentations; but then again, that’s not too relevant to what we needed him for.

Changes in BOD historically are pre curser to JV , different skills needed to operate than to set up a company

Deal before Xmas imo. Good appointment there and could be related to the funding.

Not disappointed with this change as wasn't impressed with NC fudging questions recently. However, I do wonder if this was a demand of the potential JV partner prior to completion. NC may well have ruffled somebody's feathers and had to go. Just speculation on my part of course.....

Perhaps a matter of 'if you don't jump, we'll push'. There's some emphasis on the new guy's deal-making experience, which is perhaps the skill set they need right now.

Neill Carson out then? Jumped or pushed? Things not quite going as they hoped? Any insight from those that know or who have met him?
