I have no doubt the directors would be buying shares at these prices if they could but I suspect they are firmly in a ‘closed period’ with good news about to break.

PoO over 81 dollars.First aim done, second - 87.36 now...Btw, not just #opec but Wood Mackenzie also forecasts 2 mbd #oil demand growth at '24 (if #China have overcome recession) #ootthTTps://x.com/amalteya3000/status/1768280974163337673?s=46&t=wfsOgfWHdwyExVA_MX6XYQ---What Sunbed/RR really want to know is-:WTI price is Crude oil price or not?He thinks they are referring to different PoO!We have tried to explain it many times!Lol.Gl all

RR

Good entry point imo.

Oil also on a bit of a charge. What a difference a month makes. Gone is the talk of market weakness. Where the @IEA saw surpluses, now it sees deficits.

IEA revises higher its 2024 oil demand growth estimate to 1.3m b/d (from 1.2m b/d), highlighting growth is back to "its historical trend"

What do you want me to explain to you - the Oil Index applicable to I3E or the Capital Reduction - or both?

Firmer oil prices, I think based on stronger demand forecasts, welcome and i3E needs to track up. Waiting for the next divi announcement or final results to confirm things aren't so bad, it would be nice to get back in to double figures at least.

For the next leg up for PoO.NEW:@IEA has raised its global oil demand forecast by 110k b/d to 1.34mn b/d in 2024, citing an improved outlook in the US.This is up 190k b/d since its first projection for 2024 issued in July, but still well down on #Opec's 2.2mn b/d forecast. #oott argusmedia.com/en/news-and-in...hTTps://x.com/ushukrik/status/1768236908574908632?s=46&t=wfsOgfWHdwyExVA_MX6XYQ--Rocky - you are even more confused than you were on the I3E call. And quote! Is anyone surprised?Hahaha No wonder he needed to change his account here.LolGl all

Rocky - your even more confused than you were on the I3E call.

About 90% of I3E’s production is benchmarked against Edmonton Light and the remainder against WCS - just so you know.

Is it just me or does anyone else have difficulty understanding what on earth Goodday is talking about? It seems to be a mixture of his own northern ramblings + some cut & pastes from other posters.. but I could be wrong.

I do however suspect that mushrooms are involved.

Come on, who was it?It must be one of the blanked posters! As this quotation is new to me!Who was it???Do not be shy!As an aside a poster on the other BB called IR asking questions about the recent RNS - unfortunately, he did not appear to fully understand what he was told and he jumbled the message- but one thing that did come out of the call was that the Capital Reduction currently has nothing to do with any Corporate Action eg asset sales and return of capital to shareholders.Hahaha.PoO settling over the 80 dollars.hTTps://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/crude-oilGl all

Tony, Sunbed used to post such carp!LolBless him.The difference between the blank posters & Tony!Quality than quantity I love to read.Is that correct Sunbed?? Maybe Rock Rubble can pass the message!tonynorstrom1, Posts: 4,268Price: 9.00RE: Just about $80 oilToday 09:15 on LSEAnd just to add a little different perspective - Gas is at multi-year lows - CAD 1.70 / GJ it averaged CAD 3.60 in 2021. ?and something that not many people here may appreciate is that Edmonton Light traded at a $9 discount to WTI in January, $8 in February and about $7 currently. Last year the discount was in the more usual range of $3 - $4. So on average were currently getting about $4-$5 less than we were last year in comparison to WTI. ?On the positive side: ?1) were paying down the debt - each month, this alone adds 0.1p to NAV. ?2) The dividend is relatively safe and were generating a little bit of cash after payment of the dividend and debt. ?3) Macro for gas is improving - some of the big producers have cut production, some of the large basins are approaching peak production and LNG Canada is starting up this year. ?4) The trans mountain pipeline should reduce the discounts on both Edmonton Light and WCS ??As an aside a poster on the other BB called IR asking questions of the recent RNS - unfortunately he did not appear to fully understand what he was told and he jumbled the messaged- but one thing that did come out of the call was that the Capital Reduction currently has nothing to do with any Corporate Action eg asset sales and return of capital to shareholdersThank you, Tony.Cheers.Gl all
