If you Google “reasons for capital reduction” you’ll get 4 main reasons. Strange thing here is we had one just last year which will see dividends covered from an accounting corporate governance perspective for some years, so it could be something like a demerger or the sale of some assets and ability to give a Special Divi as mentioned by Tony as a possibility. Whatever the reason, it’s interesting to say the least and is one of the reasons I’ve been adding over the last week when I’m already bursting at the seams. Let’s hope it doesn’t end like the Python “just a waffer thin mint to end sir..” sketch.

I have a call with Camarco at 9am in the morning. Does anyone have any questions they'd like me ask?My main reason for the call is discuss SAVE, but while I've got them on the call, I'll also try to understand more about the proposed Capital Reduction recently announced by i3E. I'd like to know precisely what it means, why we are doing it and what options it potentially opens up for us. I'm not sure how much they will divulge though.Being brutally honest, I thought it had have been explained by some of the long term holders on here, however, I get the distinct impression that nobody really understands it 100%.

Traders are waiting for the consumer and producer price indexes, which will be released Tuesday and Thursday, for additional signs of when the Federal Reserve might be able to cut interest rates.

Most investors are expecting the Fed to start lowering borrowing costs in June. Lower rates typically stimulate economic growth, which stimulates energy demand.

OPEC and the IEA will also release their monthly oil market reports on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
