04/5/2006 16:35 | VS i created a bearish thread on the 14th Nov 2005.... The reason for this new thread was to change the title. You are behind the times. | fusebox
04/5/2006 16:21 | This is what paulypilot said of home gaming of which is being dsiposed of now... " Home Gaming is Invox's core activity, making £5.4m (pre tax, goodwill & exceptionals) for y/e 30/6/2005, which was down 19% on the previous year. It is almost a "virtual company", with only 10 employees (including Directors) during 2004. So most activities are out-sourced, with Invox basically managing a database of an astonishing 3.5m customers.! | fusebox
04/5/2006 16:10 | Well its dropping all the time Paulypilot i think this is one the FSA need to investigate following your meeting with management at the AGM ! | fusebox
04/5/2006 16:09 | Love him or loathe him, fusebox has judged this right. | scumdog
04/5/2006 16:08 | Paulypilot "should throw off a very nice dividend yield soon " | fusebox
04/5/2006 16:07 | Paulypilot said in the penultimate paragraph... "This is not the most exciting growth company in the world by any means. But I do believe it's an overly cheap Value share, which should throw off a very nice dividend yield again soon." | fusebox
04/5/2006 15:43 | Of course it says it all. The mms dropped the price early then raised it in order to offload the 450,000 shares didnt they! Bad news this company but i did warn time and time again. | fusebox
04/5/2006 15:39 | TB, Pass LOL. Looks like your verdict and the rest of the market. This rotting corpse has been on offer all day at 33% lower than yesterdays prices with the business being valued at pitiful £6m. Yet no one wants it. Says it all really doesn't it. | gsands
04/5/2006 15:32 | You are right TB. They are grasping at straws. | fusebox
04/5/2006 15:29 | Isn't there an argument for saying that, if an investment is too hard to analyse, with too many possible outcomes, then it's best to leave it alone? Appreciate that Paul and others may not be able to do that now, but that's the way I feel, as a potential new investor. Pass! :0) | taurusthebear
04/5/2006 15:26 | Paulypilot is a ramper led you all astray. Dump the stock you know it makes sense. | fusebox
04/5/2006 15:24 | Lets wait and see what the plan is like Paul says if its pants then just vote against it. | rbonnier
04/5/2006 15:22 | Ok Paul - I follow your logic now. However, there does seem to be quite a lot of creative thinking here on your part. There is nothing in the RNS to suggest a profit sharing arrangement, just a deferred payment, therefore at this stage I think idea that the gaming division will be sold off and then flourish to such an extent that somewhere down the line it will acutally contribute a BIGGER profit to INX on a profit sharing basis, is a bit pie in the sky. | gsands
04/5/2006 15:13 | You guys will learn the hard way when the company hits further problems and the share price slumps yet again. | fusebox
04/5/2006 15:12 | well they say profits are likely to fall short so whats that then maybe 15p of earnings. So PER of 2. Ive never seen a share so cheap as this one. rgds jim | jim_black
04/5/2006 14:52 | Tanzanite (TNZ) flying!! | frances2
04/5/2006 14:44 | Paul, Why are you so excited about this: That said, people are still missing the key point about selling off Home Gaming with an earn-out - namely that as a private company it will be able to operate a lot more aggressively, and hence drive profits back up again in a way which perhaps would not be possible as part of a plc. As a shareholder it is of no interest to us what-so-ever. So what if they make a big success of it once it's outside of PLC restrictions? Is that meant to be exciting for us? And as for the deferred payments. Well that smells of some kind of 'flogged off' at a giveaway price campaign - we'll pay for it someway down the line and and as little a possible type of strategy. How can it be in the best interests of the shareholders to sell a profit making division of the business for a deferred payment? And how can the best interests of the shareholders be upheld if the management are effectively selling it to themselves? I'm sorry Paul but you have a most odd way of looking at things. | gsands
04/5/2006 14:35 | hmmm this is probably fairly valued then at 30p another one for the note book never ignore or bet against the market. | rbonnier |
