Total subscription customers for Brightview = 61,000. If each of those customers is worth £250 then the Brightview is worth £15.25m alone.

Current market cap is sum £10m.

On the face of it this looks like a buying op.

I can't believe what the management team are doing: they seem to be getting rid of the company's a/only cash generative division with the consideration payable over years!!!! and then wanting to concentrated their activities where the things are really really expected to toughen up.

Low margins to start with with intense competition to follow (Talk Talk from Carphonewarehouse is only the first, other majors are about to get in on the action). So although the sign ups may have been fine why I cant expect them to carry on at anywhere near that rate, wait for an inevtitable update at the time of the results which says that trading at Brightview has also deteriorated. Classic management mistake! ouch

Zilch earnings visibility

Market cap this morning reduced to the value of the broadband business alone. Time to wait for the dust to settle of this one and get a handle on what is going on here.

Im often accused of going bearish after a profit warning well thats not the case.

I went bearish on JQV about 3 weeks ago....profit warning today.

That will teach all those trashers a lesson.

Is Man Financial Limited a sell or a buy?

I know of an identical chart to this (LDR), both companies are niche with the same problems. For the management not to make a statement about this 'further' decline in the share price is bordering on criminal, Nigel Wray jumping ship sends out the clearest signal. Unfortunately as you say PaulyPilot when you're stuck holding 320k there's sod all you can do, you'd struggle to get them away at 28p imo. Go and kick a few doors down and get some answers for yourself.

Not worth considering until it clarifies its position stocks dont collpase and tank everyday without a valid reason Invox needs to tell the market what that reason is.

Only worth looking at again if the market cap hits 6 million - maybe?

Well its time for me to sell and protect around 50% of whats left of what I invested .
Clearly there is something very very wrong here you dont get profitable companies trading on market caps just above what their annual profits are its unheard of.
Invox should issue an immediate profits warning the credibility of the company and the directors are literally being crucified by the market.
The share price is doing all the talking and will inevitably force Hargrave to make an announcement,I think non of us will be surprised by its content

Invox PLC

Annual report for the year ended 30 June 2005

Resolution 6
That the Company be and is hereby generally and unconditionally authorised to make market purchases (within the meaning of section 163 of the Companies Act 1985) of ordinary shares of 50p each in the capital of the Company.

All resolutions were passed at the AGM so excuse me why the hell arnt the diretors in the market buying back the shares to deliver shareholder value which appears to have been completely wiped out.
