25/9/2006 08:06 | Pilot ramped Invox last year after he went to the agm he started a new thread note carefully how he has removed his rather Bullish AGM summary! he posted about all the shares he was buying and how foolish people were if they were going to sell shares to him at such low levels rather arrogantly imo but whos the fool now...lol....! Anyway I bet Pilot wont be at this years agm probably doesnt even hold 1 share now to allow access to the meeting...! So excuse me for appearing rather rude agreed with The skies the limit he deserves it. | rbonnier
24/9/2006 13:41 | Thank you Paul for your generosity. | pip_uk
24/9/2006 11:33 | He deserves it. IND has been ramped for example I hold EKT is makes massive more profits and has a better outlook. Next year profits are expected to rise 50%. It pays a dividend too. You have only to look at pps ramps on other stocks..here are some examples... FWY BPRG EHR ARG SEA All down and there are far more dogs that I aint mentioned. He has led you lot up the garden path with IND sold his declared holding down from 3% and watched you lot pick his stock up at 70 times plus eps. Laughable. | the skies the limit
24/9/2006 11:01 | I was replying to RBonnier's comment about IND. I too have lost money on INX but do get bored of people being rude about Paul Scott. | benson
24/9/2006 10:54 | benson you have posted on the wrong thread this is INX not IND. | the skies the limit
24/9/2006 10:47 | I suggest you look at Indigo Vision's results. A collapse seems highly unlikely. | benson
20/9/2006 12:41 | I take it from your posts that you boys must belong to the Paul Scott friendship society. If every poster was as straight forward with their research as Mr Scott just think what a better place these BB`s would become. I would humbly suggest that rather than slag Paul maybe you could post some worthwhile research of your own. Friend of Paul. Cheers. | pip_uk
20/9/2006 11:30 | Well what can you say those that have followed Pilot this year will probably all be in a queue filing for bankruptcy.! This absolute nightmare along with ouch..Chariot and fayrewood I wouldnt be surprised at all if Indigovision didnt collapse before the end of the year it looks extremely overvalued to me. | rbonnier
20/9/2006 09:14 | Pulypilot doesnt post much these days he is too ashamed of the dogs he has ramped the last year or so. Neither did he update his paulyfolio on the fool. Says it all really. He has done his best to keep ramping IND but he holds well below the 3% declaration now and my gut feeling tells me he has been dumpig more lately. | the skies the limit
20/9/2006 09:10 | Im surprised Paul Scott didnt comment on the results and the collapse and ruin of this company when he had quite a large holding I can only presume he sold out at aound the 30p mark. Looks like a very shrewd move this has debt of 3 million if it gets next to nothing for its home gaming division which looks likely given it now looks like a loss making business and it is in talks with its bankers and the Broadband market just a complete flux a market cap of around half of todays share price looks fair. A possible placing to raise capital looking highly likely aswell ! Parry and Hargreaves are an absolute disgrace. | rbonnier

27/8/2006 17:19 | Directors' share ownership and buying seems to be quite an important issue for investors, as for e.g. shown by recent discussion on the TEL thread. On that thread I recently (Blank Frank - 23 Aug'06 - 20:17 - 643 of 652 ) posted some data from the August 2006 Company REFS; the purpose was to compare TEL to its peers, but the data may be of interest to INX thread readers also as it includes INX. In this REFS, INX and TEL are categorised in the "Fixed Line Telecommunications" table, which contains 19 companies. Six of these (including INX and TEL) are shown as having market capitalisations of below £10M. (all are listed on AIM). Here are those companies, and their level of director share ownership contained in this edition of REFS:- IDN Telecom: Mkt. cap. £7.86M. 23.9% director share ownership 2 directors own at least 3% Spectrum Interactive: Mkt. cap. £7.80M. 54.1% director share ownership 4 directors own at least 3% Invox: Mkt. cap. £7.12M. 8.89% director share ownership 2 directors own at least 3% Telephone Maintenance: Mkt. cap. £1.63M. 30.3% director share ownership 3 directors own at least 3% PNC Telecom: Mkt. cap. £1.16M. 7.56% director share ownership 1 director owns at least 3% Canisp: Mkt. cap. £0.80M. 0.79% director share ownership 0 directors own at least 3% TEL's forward P/Es at its current mid price of 59p (market cap. c. £1.73M.) are: 3.277 for year end 31/7/06 1.71 for year end 31/7/07 B.F. | blank frank
25/8/2006 12:46 | I think the statement re Barclays means that either they are about to breach their banking covenants, or they think a cash crunch is coming and they will need to borrow working capital. Either way, this was the final straw that made me dump my holding. | freaknomad
25/8/2006 12:26 | As the creator of this thread I think I should inform fellow bbers that I have sold all my shares in Invox for a loss of 4 grand. I cant see the home gaming division fetching a great deal management were only prepared to buy it on a defered payment arrangement now we can see why as it only made 50k in the last 6 months so no one will want to pay a great deal for that( Whats the database worth though?) As for whats left Brightview well if profits hadnt nearly halved there aswell I would have stayed in .I cant see any good news in this sector at all but remain of the view this will get taken out. If it drops to a silly price like 10p I will be back but need to get this 4k back elsewhere,as I wont get it back holding these. | rbonnier
25/8/2006 11:08 | bonnier you'd be better off dumping this dog and buying into one of your better calls, eg top up your NAD holding. | ttte
25/8/2006 11:00 | I see what you mean FreakNomad ive also taken note of stemis excellent post on tmf.I just find it quite unbelievable how the home gaming division has gone from making 5 million profit to just 50k in 6 months! The total group only made 600k in the 2nd half and they have warned that this will be lower. Whats your take on the following doesnt sound too good to me? Financial We are very grateful for the continued support of our bankers, Barclays Bank plc. Given our aim of continuing growth in its broadband subscriber base, we are in negotiation with Barclays to secure facilities consistent with that goal. This may involve deferral of repayments envisaged under the existing agreement. Ive had time to really look hard at these results and Im thinking it might be time to bite the painful bullet and sell is Paulypilot around to comment on todays announcement. | rbonnier
25/8/2006 10:34 | 40,500 broadband subscribers paying 11.99/month turns over £5.8 million. With a market cap of £5.4 million, this makes a PSR of 0.93, which is more than fully valued. | freaknomad
25/8/2006 10:14 | Going bust. | ygor
25/8/2006 09:34 | In terms of new subscribers the broadband business had a very good year, especially in the first three quarters: at the year end it had some 40,500 broadband subscribers compared with 16,900 twelve months before, an increase of 140 per cent. Brightview's profits for the year were #1.9 million before goodwill amortisation (2005: #2.5 million). With the home gaming division out of the way this for starters will always be a bid candidate as the sector consolidates. As you can see from the above Brightview is no basket case so your prediction of going much lower seems a bit harsh. | rbonnier
25/8/2006 09:10 | The net profits of Brightview will inevitably deteriorate in the current year owing to the continuing decline of dial-up business and stiff price competition in broadband. ...............expec | jotoha1
25/8/2006 08:58 | The results have been brought forward a month early .Pretty terrible as expected but I can see the end in sight at last .The home gaming division might be sold to a third party so thats a positive as that means we will get cash for it rather than on a defered payment arrangement with management. That leaves Brightview and under the circumstances appears to be surviving quite well. With Hargreaves going and the ease at which goodwill has been written down you can expect a bid for the quality brand Brightview Group PLC before the end of the year. a value of 2 million has been put on the home gaming division So at best I predict maybe 1 mil for home gaming 2.5 million in the bank 10 million for Brightview less 3 million debt making a bid pitched at 10 million equating to a 45p bid. I therefore agree with chapman123 | rbonnier
