Parob, possibly but much more likely is that this is retail investors. Hvivo has issued good results, it has been tipped by a number of popular stock pickers, and the share price is trending upwards, which draws in more retail investors/traders.

As far as I can tell, there are few if any institutional shareholders and none with a disclosable holding. If a company was viewing this as a takeover target, it would likely be very difficult to build up a significant holding without driving the share price up dramatically. It would be cheaper for them to agree a takeout price at an acceptable premium to the current share price.

Long term holders, don't forget to add on about 3.2p onto the hvo price when working out your profits (if you haven't sold polb that is). So, the adjusted hvo price is now about 24.7p for a true comparison.

As I see it, looks like either insts buying for their own book (not crossing a declaration boundary), or an inst buying for a bidder (ditto), or a potential bidder buying (ditto), or an investor with quite deep pockets investing.

Whether bull/bear/sensible or psycho, i can't see any other options to explain the recent day after day rise (25% on my original investment today, for those who don't see the advantages of ltbh). Any other possibilities?

Tikh - with a 'huge market cap of £130M' I assume you sold your tly on a stop-loss and went short here? Smart moves :¬)

It feels as though there is an entity mopping up as many shares as they can get their hands on as quickly as possible. This could of course be an institution but it could also be a potential acquirer. We shall find out in due course I'm sure.

Who knows but its great to see us getting back to half decent levels. Its obvious there is a lot of appetite for the shares. Maybe a takeover is closer than we think, I really would not be surprised.

A few institutions loading up I suspect, and rightly so.

How's that garbage TLY doing.

Karma.

If the share price had been declining at such a rate since Christmas I am sure we would all have been expecting bad news that somebody somewhere knew about. Given it is the opposite I am now beginning to wonder what happens next!

I post on here and within minutes 3 trades appear on TLY. Funny that.

Who do you think made those 3 trades to push the share price lower to desperately pump and dump here???

Look at the massive 'direct project and admin costs' here.

Compare it to the revenues.

Enzo,

Wrong, the revenues not £60m though, is it?

Revenues £50m so 4x revenue is £200m.

Hiring space at QMB is not skillful. Go to QMB and hire as much space as you want.
Promoting to get candidates to take part in trials is not skillful. It's marketing.

How much space do you want to hire?

Whereas you think there are very few barriers to entry in setting up a diversified business model such as TLY's. Really? Their diversified business model consists Urgent Care, Planned Care, Insourcing.
You think having dozens of consultants, doctors, nurses etc are not skilled??? Really?

It's amazing how the goal changes..started off as revenues, now moves to barriers to entry..what next? lol

TLY:
Mcap £45m, revenues £127m (fy2022), yield 4%.

Can you name their competitors?

TLY operate in all 4 UK nations and ROI. What barriers to entry do you think exist there to setup TLY

Sikh - 3 x revenues is over £150m - we are at market cap of £141m

4 x revenues (of this year) will be around £240m making a share price of 36p

There are very few barriers to entry with TLY - to set up another HVO you need a great skill set / regulatory approval / manufacture challenge agents / database of participants plus a database of potential outcomes helps

Institution buying..

5 months ago, this poster posted the CEO said IIs will be buying with 3 months.

He also claimed the CEO said he'll be buying.

Where are the IIs and CEO buys?

In the interview last week chairman said institutions would be buying in within 3 month. Also CEO said he's going to be buying shares soon so lots of catalyst in pipeline amongst other news on the strong pipeline.

Chica,

"So we're undervalued by 50 million currently. Some might say we should be trading at 4× revenue because of the barriers to entry. Goldman Sachs private equity recently bought a CRO (same space as Hvivo clinical trials) for 4× revenue and they were only growing at 9% annually. "

The current valuation is crazy. 3x revenues!!

Even if they are valued at 4x on a buyout that's not much higher than the current mcap.

TLY is in a growing strongly, exactly the services the NHS/govn are promoting and using.
Their mcap is 1/3 of revenues and their share price around 1/3 of broker's target price.
