Leeson,

Those are huge numbers. But Lancaster has proven to be a huge field. I think they will have considerable interest for a deal, whether its an acceptable deal to management is another question.

Longterm, its win win.

on abve figures, at $3b valuation on lancaster, and even on just ~3bill barrels OIP, thats $1/b oip, or $4/b recoverables...... conservative imo...

cash, weve been told 591mmbo recoverables, using 25pc RF, thus infering 2.4bill barrels... but, would todays price action and vols suggest a much higher figure than 2.4bill to you?? i think it does....... i think ~4bill barrels OIP ++, or, a farm in news, which would then be able to let the market value the GLA and GWA, because if say for example, BP buy 33pc of lancaster for ~$1billion, that therefore values 100pc of lancaster at ~$3billion, and GWA about $3bill too, and parrtial added value to whirlwind, typhoon and strathmore, perhaps ~$1b for these, totalling ~$7billion.... which is why a farm in deal and associated terms, is crucial, and derisks everything.

So, CPR, or a farm in........... thats about the current extent of possible speculative conjecture on my part at present.

:-)

Bigdazzler That may be the case for some punters but I have the cash to pay for the shares if necessary but prefer a core holding and trade T20s to keep my share account balance creaping higher and that is whats happening. Also I trade the T20s using charts.

Agreed, got to be the CPR. Put some firm numbers behind Lancaster.

Especially when you could just open the same size position via an SB. Never understood T20'ers.

I have a core holding but trade others on T20s. So I have to close before "pay day" then open another or more T20 etc,

Putting time pressure on your trades and also high costs of frequent expensive trading on T-20's the road to the poor house long term imo. #justsaying.

Volume only 12 million shares today though. Not enough to represent serious insider interest in my opinion - might just be a significant breakout that has snowballed the buying. Who cares for now, but rumours of buy outs etc are premature IMO

specially, when then NAV is billions of $ ... a few $ drop on oil makes no diff to HUR. this is nav play imo, massively discounted to it.

Looks like some take profits at below the bid. But if times are hard and it means decent food on the table..then who can blame them? I think many sail close to the wind, so like to sleep at night.

Otherwise I can't for the life of me, see a reason to sell down here!

Profit taking or the normal retracement induced by MMs?

after reaching 67.75p there was a sudden marked down to 64.50p, that is 38.2% fibonacci retracement, the normal MMs workout or you could say the order book manipulation.

The positive part now is order book got strong again on the bid side, were not long ago was level to negative from time to time

DEPTH
bid side 41
offer side 24

volume and Breakout bullish

I see no harm in insider dealing...as long as it's on the upside and I'm holding the shares!

Really, this has been held back and now some are complaining about lack of news! No pleasing some peeps?

Look at it like this, for those who keep taking profits. We would all think we'd been done if someone offered £1.50 share...well I would! So just enjoy the ride and thank you're lucky stars and how smart you are in buying the darn thing in the first place?
