HUR had a CMD so I guess someone liked what they saw and has decided to buy a few shares....Good news IMO.

The 'fat' profits are yet to come. Chicken it if you want, but the golden egg is yet to be laid!

I was gonna sell at 66p (was offered 65.98 for 50K) but decided to wait to see what's driving this.

P90 reserves of say 500m (Malcy says 2bn) @ $3/bbl is still way in excess of the current mkt cap

1bn reserves at $4/bbl is still way in excess of current value

capex of around £450m

still money to be made for a major(s)

but it's so tempting when you're sat on such fat prophets (Malcy!)..gettit? I'll get mi well worn coat with the leather patches on th'elbows

I would put my money on Lancaster CPR. Too early for any M&A.

lancaster, recoverables min ~600mmbo x $3/b = $1.8b / £1.44b or ~120p/share.

factor in h-fax, and GWA, and this is only the start......................

Or maybe Hurricane's broker has been out buying lunch reassuring potential fund managers that the CPR is coming very soon and it's time to buy in? With maybe a side deal with CA to place blocks of 10m a time?

...or perhaps CA have been persuaded to sell any excess via a placing to a new investor?
