16/2/2017 00:28 | But the company have not made any mistakes. What facts have you that they have made any mistakes now. | gary38
16/2/2017 00:12 | Again, you prove my point. NO company is immune to mistakes along the way, I don't care how good they are. It's how they manage and deal with them that is important... Not interested in trading, I am in to the target which is way north of here... | control1
16/2/2017 00:09 | Dr Robert Trice, Chief Executive of Hurricane, said: "This has already been a hugely successful drilling campaign for Hurricane and the Halifax Well marks an exciting opportunity with which to close it. The prospect is also a logical conclusion to the drilling programme as, following the success of the Lancaster Pilot Well, we believe that the oil column extends beyond the Lancaster block boundary and potentially up to the Halifax Prospect. We look forward to updating the market with initial well results towards the end of Q1 2017." True facts not fake news. Dr and team are a top team with a top company that have not put a foot wrong and is going to make us investors a lot of money . Control1 it sounds like you are trading this share which is not a easy thing to do with a company that can spike at any moment.Best of luck your need it. | gary38
15/2/2017 23:33 | Because eringael, a little reminder to some that lack of denial that there is an issue by RNS, doesn't always mean that there isn't one, is warranted. I get fed up with people's rage bought on by nothing but blind faith. There is no innuendo, subtle or otherwise on my part. I've got £50k invested here for better or worse so I am obviously keen for the right result and frankly, I am not bothered whether you believe it or not... | control1
15/2/2017 23:20 | Control- not sure why you are mentioning lies, suspension etc in the same post regarding hurricane Can't believe the amount of not so subtle innuendos posted over the last 24 hours | eringael
15/2/2017 23:09 | A couple of comments having caught up with today's posting. 1). as a couple of people have suggested, very few companies actually RNS to say that they have an issue mid drill. It is virtually unheard of as it does have a very detrimental effect on the share price so any reliance on an RNS to confirm no issues here is not really sound thinking. If anyone doubts this, I refer you to PANR and the geology that went through drill bits like cheese straws recently. No one saw that one coming and PANR didn't let on mid drill. When the news came out, it absolutely battered the share price and I am sure that most on here can think of their own examples of this... 2). The previous drop pre Lincoln drill result news here was caused by AS giving a timescale and news leaking out that the drill had finished well ahead of schedule which some interpreted as a negative result. IMHO, HUR were forced into issuing an RNS confirming success earlier than they would have liked to, just to stabilise the share price This is why there were caveats about it being interim result only subject to further analysis. Neither of these points is intended to be a negative to HUR, I am invested here up to my eyeballs (and beyond) as I am hoping to pack in work early but if I had a £ for very time I heard dismissive comments such as "just noise" and I believe the company, only for disaster to strike, I wouldn't need to bother investing.... I do believe the HUR story and integrity which is why I am here and in that heavily however I have lost money on AIM more than once based on barefaced lies by directors who were confident of this and that right up to the point of suspension which of course, came as a total surprise to the BOD... | control1
15/2/2017 18:24 | it's probably better to look at it as a company with special assets, which will give us a special treat! | rayrac
15/2/2017 17:37 | Nicebut.I know we have had our differences in the past but I fully concur with your earlier posting.Hurricane is a very special company and in due course will receive the recognition it truly deserves.LT | ltinvestor

15/2/2017 17:04 | Ref Gary posting old RNS's. Sometimes, in times of potential confusion, it is good to look back at the facts and remind ourselves of the last known official news. Whilst it can be a bit of pain, it is also good to be prompted to reread the latest RNS to bring some calm and Objectivity into the debate. | hopeful holder
15/2/2017 17:01 | Share price moved hugely over last year. Some huge finds and potentially more to come.It wouldn't surprise me if there was an issue. Oil drilling is not simple and not easy, BUT, and I repeat BUT, these will be operational issues and will be overcome. If not, and it becomes a major issue, then expect an RNS.Its easy to worry especially for those of us who have been following and investing in HUR and perhaps have more in here than normal. My view is that we have made huge progress. I expect to make much more this year. I'm a longer term investor so the intraday price is not as important as the news and trend.Think of any complex tasks you have undertaken, it takes planning, tools and a degree of skill. When and if things go wrong we take a few moments to review, ponder and then progress to work thru it. Finally and I hope its not preaching to my fellow investors, if you are spooked then you are probably in too deep and perhaps need to take some profits to help with the sleep.Best wishes to you all. | hopeful holder
15/2/2017 16:42 | Agree Gary, but it would be even better if you didn't keep reposting RNSs from day and weeks ago. It just creates loads of text to scroll through to get to any new postsPeter | greyingsurfer
15/2/2017 16:15 | Kf 100% agree .This BB is far better. | gary38
15/2/2017 15:53 | Overreacting to no news is a good reason to avoid the lse board altogether. | kfr20
