08/2/2017 18:14 | The Lancaster CPR will reveal a higher reserves figure, by the look of yesterday's RNS, and thereby better economics for the EPS. Any drop in PoO would have to be significant AND sustained to now throw HUR off course. IMHO. | cinques
08/2/2017 18:12 | Jacks the 5 to 8 billion IS the recoverable number NOT OIIP | ngms27
08/2/2017 18:08 | "The only potential downer here is the PoO as demonstrated by the 2014 drop." 100% agree Cinques. BH | bloodhound
08/2/2017 18:00 | Why will it get tougher? If a takeout is the *most* likely outcome, then isn't it a case of just hunkering down and letting Kerogen look after their interests and ours at the same time? If no takeout, then wait for EPS? The only potential downer here is the PoO as demonstrated by the 2014 drop. I'd be surprised if it gets as bad as that again. | cinques
08/2/2017 17:41 | Jacks thanks still 3 pounds is good from here, the problems most will have are not too far away the higher the share price moves the tuffer things will get for us shareholders? Few major decisions ahead I think | zztop
08/2/2017 17:21 | Some bigger trades on the late reporting 600k and a few others | laserdisc
08/2/2017 17:06 | Thanks 1S. I just listened to the podcast again with emphasis on Halifax. At 2mins51 "Plus really great exploration news" when talking about upcoming news At 9mins12 "Assuming Halifax comes in, feeling pretty chuffed with ourselves" Whilst I admit to reading (in this case listening) between the lines Halifax is looking good. | pounddreamer
08/2/2017 17:05 | If no shorting attack holding value increases. If the pack have a go I top up. Win Win. | pcok
08/2/2017 16:55 | i think even shorters would be aware of the newsflow and share price strength here. i check the shorts each day on shorttracker; theres none... cheers | leeson31
08/2/2017 16:53 | zztop, here's a calculation: 8bn barrels x 0.30RF = 2.4bn barrels x $12.5/barrel = $30bn (£24bn approx) That gets you to your figure. Bit of a stretch from the look of it. £5bn might be nearer the mark, which, if we assume dilution up to a new total of 1.8bn shares in issue (or equivalent via farmout) in order to get EPS up and running, would give £2.80/share. | jacks13
08/2/2017 16:51 | PcokThese are low prices so dont rely on the shorters because they are bound for the shorters graveyard being burnt here. | gary38
08/2/2017 16:46 | 8 craggle I thought that at one time ,but if you listen to vox previous podcast this round of drilling seems definitely ending with Spitsbergen till next phase just too much going on it seems | laserdisc
08/2/2017 16:45 | The coming breeze is beginning to smell sweeter and sweeter. Some phenomenal numbers being batted about. I don't mind if we only get to £2 as that would be great. I do, however, want the shorters to really get busy in the few weeks news gap we may now face with Halifax drill proceeding. I can then top up at a lower cost. This is looking like a quite remarkable and completely game changing set of discoveries. | pcok
08/2/2017 16:44 | Fascinating laserdisc! Many thanks. | hiddendepths
08/2/2017 16:42 | Ta laser , I just wondered if perhaps hurricane had gone to the ii's to pop in another drill. Hence the selling to perhaps fund and or balance there holdings.Certainly seems like something is going on maybe just a bit of profit taking ? Plenty of big news due anyway. | 8craggle
08/2/2017 16:39 | Aberdeen port now calling it Halifax oil field. Celina sailed at 2pm And stril polar expected in at 10pm | laserdisc
08/2/2017 16:36 | Pounddreamer - EPS req for proof of viability plus Warwick drill me thinks | 1solon

08/2/2017 16:26 | Zz the likes of hd and many others would become mm | laserdisc
08/2/2017 16:25 | At the risk of a little dreaming what would it take to proof best case scenario from where we are now? Another 3 wells on top of a Halifax success? One on whirlwind and another in the Lincoln/Whirlwind field. Then one between Lancaster/Halifax. 3 more wells or more? | pounddreamer
08/2/2017 16:23 | 8 craggle booked for repsol come spring so much going on presently I would think Warwick will come into the next phase of drilling when I don't know | laserdisc
08/2/2017 16:18 | 8 billion? Would that give a share price of over 20 pounds? | zztop
08/2/2017 16:12 | Does someone know off hand if the Spitsbergen is booked after Halifax, to another company. Or is there perhaps time to pop a hole in Warwick.? | 8craggle
08/2/2017 16:12 | Between this and uen this is shaping up to be a cracking year...They should be in the pay zone now, the longer no rns the better as far as I am concerned.. | gregpeck7 |
