Sold 25M? So given the information posted earlier that:

CA have warrants for 23,333,333 shares @ 20p

Then perhaps they will be done selling for now & the market appetite will no longer be fulfilled by CA, which I'm sure will be positive for the share price :-)

All just surmising of course.....

Just checked actually Between their disclosure on the 2nd of December and today they sold 25m. That's is roughly 800k a day for thirty trading days.

It says a lot that the market appetite not only can consume that stock but go up 25% along the way.

Because of the share price rise CA have to dispose of stock due to their articles. You can be rest assured that the placing of this stock will continue to be managed. If it wasn't for CA Hurricane wouldn't be where it is now.Just ask the directors for confirmation of that statement! LT

CA have warrants for 23,333,333 shares @ 20p, that disposal will pretty much pay for them. CAs current holding in HUR makes up a huge proportion of their NAV, it's unsurprising that they're reducing. They've been hugely supportive of HUR and it's very unlikely imo that they're selling out but they obviously need to balance their portfolio. We wouldn't be where we are now without them, it will be interesting to see who bought them (into a rising price - so it's hardly distressed selling). Looking forward to us spudding Halifax this week, we press on.

Bloodhound very good post , the possibilities here are mind blowing .

I've intimidated before my own safety plan re monetising HUR but it wouldn't surprise me that if we do survive as an entity with control then with patience and froth blown away then the shareprice could be many multiples of our current shareprice zenith .

It may be down to self determination and patience who the greater spoils go to

What next for shareholders of last year's small-cap successes?Oil rigPaul Summers | Friday, 6th January, 2017 | More on: HMIHUR0inShareWhile many of the main market's larger constituents have experienced stellar rises in their share prices over the last year, their performance pales when compared to the gains enjoyed by the shareholders of some smaller companies. Let's look at two relative market minnows and ask whether this momentum can continue in 2017.World class assetsYou only need to glance at the share price graph of £629m cap Hurricane Energy (LSE: HUR) over the last 12 months to understand why so many private investors are drawn to oil stocks, particularly those lower down the market spectrum. Priced at a fraction under 10p one year ago, shares in the Godalming-based explorer now trade at 53p thanks to a series of extremely positive updates from the company. Back in September, Hurricane announced that it had found a 620 m oil column in its Lancaster well - one of the biggest such discoveries in the North Sea. Then, only last month, the company revealed that its Lincoln project had discovered another significant column of 660 m. As a result, Hurricane stated that it would be revising the latter's pre-drill resource estimates of 250m barrels of recoverable oil. There is now speculation that Lincoln could generate double this figure. In 2017, the company will be bringing Lancaster to development while also turning its attention to its "hugely important" Halifax asset - a project with the potential to be as lucrative as the other two. Assuming that Hurricane is able to replicate their success (and eventually generate over 1bn barrels of resources), its share price could be a lot higher in a few years.

lets not forget they also have a
further option to drill another well in the West of Shetland area, which is exercisable within 21 days following Halifax spud subject to transoceans agreement

Doh!! The AIS is highly accurate, my post however was not.

The rig has moved approx 24km. I'll edit earlier post

That's more like it. Ships are defo anchor handling IMHO.

If anyone wants to check, just click on past track for the rig

Just checked again. If you scroll out on the tracker so you can see the Shetlands to the West and then cross reference the position with the Halifax boundary it looks like we are in the zone!!!

You little beauty.

Let's get spudding.

It is the tracker linked from the header of this board. It has seemed to exactly match and support reported facts in the past but I accept it could be currently needing spectacles. I hope all will be revealed in the not too distant.

Come on Dr T/Malcy whoever, cast a bit of light.
