24/12/2016 12:21 | If Halifax comes up good, there might be a couple of companies bidding to buy us out. Happy Christmas everyone. | ![]() the sage
24/12/2016 12:04 | Agree Mirabeau! I know some guys here and at LSE enjoy the intellectual banter and looking way ahead to riches untold, but for me a quick and dirty £1.50 takeout by BP would do me nicely removing all my portfolio risk and bumping up my NAV no end right now, cash in hand, lovely-jubbly!Bring it on I say! Lots of other fish in the sea to reinvest into (not necessarily in oil!).Merry Xmas to all. | ![]() bones

24/12/2016 07:16 | rethemagic, it's at the opposite end of the spectrum to EME in every way. No debt, massive reserves and a CEO who really knows what he is doing.Let's hope we all make a packet in 2017. | ![]() the guardian

23/12/2016 12:47 | Hey Rayrac No suggestion that the papers are reliable but I do think they like to jump on the back of winners so I think HUR is a very likely candidate for a new year tip. Also the oil market does now seem to be tightening. The end of the war in Syria is near so the Saudi, Irainian and Russian agenda of using surplus oil to punish the other guys for their "Imperial" aims looks now to be ebbing away? Anyway its been a nice year HUR wise, its been very kind. | ![]() davidblack
23/12/2016 12:37 | Happy Christmas all. 2016 has been a great year for Hur and holders. I expect loads of great news next year therefore expect 2017 to be another cracking year for HUR | ![]() bigdazzler

23/12/2016 10:24 | laserdisc - well done. I feel that I've totally gorged myself on HUR shares this last year, buying most in that 10p to 15p range, to the point where it would be reckless for me to buy any more! I see we're neck and neck in the UK Stock Challenge at positions 7 and 8 - more luck than judgment in my case :-) Well done though. | ![]() puzzler2 |
