I dunno about that - depends how many years of ISA allowance you have loaded with HUR, but I only used this year's on it and as such only have just over 1,000 OO shares available on my ISA holding; can't be bothered selling and rebuying for that amount.Perfectly happy to buy on any further dip however; any nearer the placing price the bargain just gets better. Institutions didn't oversubscribe for the placing without the expectation of a serious profit - and I don't mean flipping at 40p

Control, that is the scenario that is most likely.

I suspect that the drop maybe partly due to the fact that like me, others are fully subscribed in their ISA and therefore had to sell some to raise the cash to pay for the offer shares....

The 34p placing was vastly oversubscribed
The drop is because market and whole sector down, plus some flipping. Will recover shortly unless a complete market meltdown.

Damac, my broker (AJ Bell YouInvest) has told me the information to enable me to act on the Open Offer will appear on the website this evening. So, I guess other brokers are getting round to it also.

There will be a load of sell stops at 30p which the MMs and brokers would like to trigger.

Got shafted a couple of times on placings where the price dropped below offer price, so when l see the price start dropping l wait till the last day to make my mind up.

Anyone else go through Stocktrade for their SIPP? Allocation of shares available to me via the open offer have been added to my 'Portfolio' list with no associated message on how to go about purchasing them or applying for any excess.

There is a seller in this stock and he has been dropping shares several months, otherwise imo, the share price would be much higher. However there are new institutions on board who no doubt will be picking up the stock. His holding must be below 3% otherwise announcements would have to be made.I am sure the company and its brokers know who the seller is and have probably tried to buy his stock but he has probably fallen out with the bod so no deal. The good news is that he will eventually be out and the share price should receive an additional boost.I am also expecting some news before the open offer closes to keep the share price at a reasonable level.dyor LT

I guess that's why the pi only got offered less than 5m. Cant count on fickle pi's so its probably just as well the offer was 1 for 76.

is this correct? did not know that one maybe better odds? don't know the stats for these oo nominees

Please note that due to the fact your Shares are held in a pooled nominee account any scaling back of Excess elections may not be on the same terms as those announced by the Company. You may therefore receive a greater or lower percentage of your Excess application than that announced by the Company.

talkman2 as I read its a meeting of shareholders, there may be plenty of informal discussions , but I do not see co doing a presentation , if I was nearby I would look in, perhaps a call to co could clarify who will be attending from the co

Do you think it will be worthwhile to attend the General Meeting on the 7th November. Will management do a presentation and will shareholders get a chance to speak to the BOD ?

@jmsmith. This offer is not available in the USA. However, whether a us citizen resident in UK could avail themselves of the offer here is not explicit in the offer wording. It has been known for UK based Americans here, to just apply without mentioning their nationality....

Does anyone know if u.s. investors can take part in the rights offering? Interactive brokers said I cannot but I want to confirm because the guy on the phone didn't sound very knowledgable.

The 1.2m trade looks like a sell from yesterday at 14.55 and explains why the share price is holding at the 40p level. There have been many buys and it could be that a big holder [Crystal Amber?]was feeding the MMs. CA now have 30% of their holdings in HUR and that is probably over their limit thus it could have been them.

In two weeks time HUR should start climbing on a daily basis.
