Plenty of after market trades at the higher prices of the afternoon, encouraging for tomorrow. Those large trades just under 27 an hour or so before the close hopefully were the big seller finishing off their order with possibly the last bit being completed in one of the post market trades. Onwards and upwards tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Certainly Alastair Stobie should send the signal that he is more than happy to buy the shares at this level by putting his hand in his pocket and having some skin in the game. I find it hard to believe that the board does not bring pressure to bear in this regard. It is a pretty basic requirement.

The company can instantly reverse this incessant downtrend by buying back and cancelling its own shares.It is generating much more income than needed at the moment....I cannot believe that the BOD haven’t thought of this.Perhaps they should be replaced?

Many small investors have been bullied out. Today’s buyers are the wisest of us, waiting for the gap to be filled. Congratulations

At least it was nice to see a bit of buying into the close in total contrast to yesterday's action. Maybe the seller is done for now.

Or, to put it another way zzxqry, it's a profitable oil company with very large oil reserves in a secure location. You pays your money and makes your choice.

On its way back up,, went up 2% in last ten minutes,, get in quick if you want to make a nice 5% profit before the end of the week

They have never been a friendly investor here although Woodfords demise probably took away their choice in the matter.

Those who read Malcy's blog this morning may have noticed his comments about RockRose Energy. Floated at 50p four years ago and now nearly £22 having paid out more than £2 in dividends too making holders 50 times their stake. In fact RockRose was 44p just two and a half years ago in July 2017.

I mention this to give hope to long term holders of HUR. We may not go to £22 but £1 or £2 is certainly possible, indeed likely for those who can sit through this manipulation.

I'm spending today at a large trade only wine tasting. 800 wines here so only another 700 to go.Having a coffee break and surprised to see the price weakness. Have topped up. Small scale but every little helps.

No it is just the AIM market.

My other two oil shares are RockRose (up 25% in a month) and Eco (up 50% in a month) Hurricane can and probably will do the same.

Well, I read that link and sure, it provides some good confirmation bias for us bulls, and equally still no RNS one way or the other in relation to this frenzied drop, so I am getting an itchy finger towards the buy button now.
That said, I will be patient and wait for that lower number I cited previously. On the one hand, I hope I miss this boat and it never reaches 24p or lower, but on the other, I am ready to act in a contrary manner to said sellers if nothing changes on the formal news front. Squeaky derrier territory it will be though, I am not afraid to admit!

Never possible to call the bottom but given the anger we are all feeling maybe we are at the point of financial opportunity? Unless someone has access to news that we don't there is no reason for this drop. It's being shorted and manipulated to screw over the small PI. Then it will be pumped and pumped....and rinse and repeat.
