Monday will an interesting day.

I won't even consider selling any until well over £1, most likely closer to £2, which will hopefully be by the end of this year.

You're repeating yourself - sounds to me like someone who wants the price down so he can buy in...

The traders may want the price down, but the MMs will likely mark it up, recognising hook-up as a material de-risk and a Good Thing.

yes we are hooked up " Restricted Manoeuvrability" shows when rigs are anchored. I understand that quote has to be manually inputted into the AIS

we should see over the next few hours on the past tracking sort of a semicircle created from waves /swell as it moves on the turret

Thanks GS. It's just that it shows a speed of 0.4kn even now, when it appears to be hooked up. The position is spot on and not changing.

EDIT. Zooming on the AM shows it to be stationary!!!

No TG. The mooring is massive, 12 very large and heavy chains, see the pics. They'll be designed to hold it place in pretty much any conditions. Where they may well use the DP, is to hold it head to the main swell when there is a crosswind, and also to optimise position in relation to the seas to minimise movement once they start offloading.

Am I right in thinking that the AM will always use it's engines to stay in place so as to relieve stress on the buoy chains? Not just the thrusters, I mean moving into the wave direction.
