11/12/2017 11:19 | The share price has halved since my last warnings on this dog and are Hurricane any closer to turning the 2C to 2P? Will they ever have any 2P? 2P or not 2P that is the question. | binarypilot
11/12/2017 11:17 | This demonstrates just how pointless, destructive even, a listing is these days | idleduck
11/12/2017 11:17 | Have the Hurricane mug punters still not learned the difference between 2C and 2P yet? Does the share price have to halve again before you take any notice? | binarypilot
11/12/2017 10:54 | Peter I thought he meant cost of production.......DOH Price would have been a better word! | buzzzzzzzz
11/12/2017 10:46 | May not move quickly that does not matter we are in an upward trend I continue to add good long term investment | laserdisc

11/12/2017 10:21 | HA, Peter I think that also removes any hope of a re-rate in the next several months. I think any big rerate is unlikely before we have EPS results, or someone makes an acceptable preemptive offer - which remains possible. However, I do expect the share price to rise as FOIL approaches - both as stages in the development are completed and as the moment of truth nears. And the wildcard of an FO on Halifax or Lincoln to get appraisal moving forward remains (and could happen at any time), and would impact the share price But, yes, I think it's quite possible that there won't be any big upward movement till next summer. 11/12/2017 10:13 | Desperate times, they will and could come to some arrangement (as part of their Brexit strategy, incl Budget changes} to encourage further NS development. HUR's assets could be major for UK if things go to Trice's agenda. | cumnor
11/12/2017 10:02 | Cannot see the UK government letting the Chinese Nick there oil? | zztop
11/12/2017 09:50 | No Dannimac and pipe then. | steelwatch
11/12/2017 09:48 | The majors, incl a couple of Chinese who are in the process of acquiring long term resource for their burgeoning, oil hungry population, will be watching this, but more importantly each other, to see who grabs this huge asset first. I reckon they wont wait and Hur will be taken out early next year. | cumnor
11/12/2017 09:43 | Hell no, Think he would put a cork in every oil well, vying for a cleaner planet | jimarilo
11/12/2017 09:34 | Jim - you reckon Jezza as chairman of OPEC? | steelwatch
11/12/2017 09:31 | Presume number of the analysts on the company jolly in Dubai right now viewing the EPS progress so Hurricane have a captured audience to go through these numbers with so might get some research updates in due course.STIFEL have updated today and keeps an 80p target...however'Mor | kooba
11/12/2017 09:29 | A couple of years to first oil, plenty of ups and downs before then God help us, we could even have a Labour government by then | jimarilo
11/12/2017 09:29 | Is patient investor a troll? certainly very negative ... doom-monger perhaps he, she or it has put a hex on HUR and pins in a Trice model doll | idleduck

11/12/2017 09:25 | THIS STOCK WILL GO BUST They will go bust READ THE FIGURES FROM THE RECENT RESULTS! Massive lossess which increased badly from previous year. -- Operating expenses were US$6.0 million (1H 2016: US$4.2 million) -- Loss after tax (after foreign exchange gain of US$1.7 million) of US$4.2 million (1H 2016: loss after tax (after foreign exchange gain of US$1.6 million) of US$2.6 million) JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH MORE DREADFUL THE FIGURES WOULD BE WITHOUT THE CURRENCY GAIN!!!!!!!! | the patient investor
11/12/2017 09:22 | so nothing really changed..... +ve cpr and still below placing price. Ultimately, until sustained flow is proven, the size of the prize appears appears irrelevant. | sloppyg
11/12/2017 09:18 | Peter I think that also removes any hope of a re-rate in the next several months. | haideralifool
11/12/2017 09:14 | Why will it put the cost up????It is not going to cost any more than it does nowIf the EPS proves up the production as hoped/expected then the asset will be more valuable, and the price a buyer has to pay will reflect that. A buyer could try and buy cheaply now, and accept the risk, or let HUR take risks on the EPS and pay more later. I think what we've seen and heard suggests that HUR's view is the risks are small, so they are not interested in a very cheap deal prior to the EPS being proved up. Hence the chances are no one will make an acceptable offer prior to FOIL, plus a bit of time for testing. Peter | greyingsurfer |
