The share price has halved since my last warnings on this dog and are Hurricane any closer to turning the 2C to 2P?

Will they ever have any 2P?

Peter I think that also removes any hope of a re-rate in the next several months.

I think any big rerate is unlikely before we have EPS results, or someone makes an acceptable preemptive offer - which remains possible.

However, I do expect the share price to rise as FOIL approaches - both as stages in the development are completed and as the moment of truth nears. And the wildcard of an FO on Halifax or Lincoln to get appraisal moving forward remains (and could happen at any time), and would impact the share price

But, yes, I think it's quite possible that there won't be any big upward movement till next summer.

Desperate times, they will and could come to some arrangement (as part of their Brexit strategy, incl Budget changes} to encourage further NS development. HUR's assets could be major for UK if things go to Trice's agenda.

The majors, incl a couple of Chinese who are in the process of acquiring long term resource for their burgeoning, oil hungry population, will be watching this, but more importantly each other, to see who grabs this huge asset first. I reckon they wont wait and Hur will be taken out early next year.

Presume number of the analysts on the company jolly in Dubai right now viewing the EPS progress so Hurricane have a captured audience to go through these numbers with so might get some research updates in due course.STIFEL have updated today and keeps an 80p target...however'More significant to us is that the report shows no major distinction in the rocks across the licence area (Figure 1). The upside described today doesn't yet contribute to our target price, with several important de-risking steps needed. Nevertheless, there is an eye-opening 95% increase in our unrisked Total NAV, to 580p/shr'So many rivers to cross but shows the potential if expectation and delivery realised.

JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH MORE DREADFUL THE FIGURES WOULD BE WITHOUT THE CURRENCY GAIN!!!!!!!!

Ultimately, until sustained flow is proven, the size of the prize appears appears irrelevant.

Why will it put the cost up????It is not going to cost any more than it does nowIf the EPS proves up the production as hoped/expected then the asset will be more valuable, and the price a buyer has to pay will reflect that. A buyer could try and buy cheaply now, and accept the risk, or let HUR take risks on the EPS and pay more later. I think what we've seen and heard suggests that HUR's view is the risks are small, so they are not interested in a very cheap deal prior to the EPS being proved up. Hence the chances are no one will make an acceptable offer prior to FOIL, plus a bit of time for testing. Peter
