03/10/2017 15:32 | I doubt they care when it's out to sea | davidblack
03/10/2017 11:29 | 1.5p-2p per month rise as the FPSO engineering progresses and then a run once we are looking at oil in three months. So if the time line runs to 1st June 2019 my guess is the price 28th March say around 66p or our previous high. Just a guess of course! | davidblack
03/10/2017 10:35 | I believe too, but think the real move up in share price will be with the next CPR.... Probably true, but only if something significant, like a farm in/offer doesn't happen first. I'm certainly not saying it will, but with things like that you don't know until they happen, and while not probable I wouldn't rule them out as possibilities. Peter | greyingsurfer

02/10/2017 23:37 | Thought all this activity would spur some share price reaction. Will keep a keen eye on proceedings, keeping my originalholding here and will increase as soon as things start to warm up a little.GLA I believe! | telbap
02/10/2017 18:18 | Apologies if duplicated: First Published: 19 September 2017 | Latest Update: 19 September 2017 Lancaster Field – Boulder Moving Operations On behalf of Hurricane Energy plc, the Far Superior will mobilise to the Lancaster field located in Block 205/21a to the west of Shetland. The vessel will be used to move boulders or other debris from the field, ahead of future field development operations. Operations will be centred around 60°10.794'N 003°52.196'W with the vessel moving up to approximately 1.5 km from this location. The vessel will be held in position by DP with no requirement for anchors, but equipment will be deployed from the vessel during operations hampering its movement. Based on current timings, the vessel will arrive on site in the Lancaster field no earlier than 25 September 2017 and all operations will be complete by the end of October. | steelwatch

02/10/2017 12:11 | Interesting our buyer has gone but there are no cheap sellers. Hopefully they will be back once they feel comfortable. | davidblack
02/10/2017 12:08 | Thanks fp22.. I understand from the presentations I've looked at that most of the mods to the AM are to the superstructure. So called "green water" protection, to protect the processing equipment on deck from the bigger waves in the new WoS location compared to the previous relatively calm NS. I believe there is to be no major modification to the process equipment other than refurbishing & maintenance. This should reduce the risk of some of the possible problems encountered with a new build - or maybe not depending on how much testing they can do prior to (re)introducing hydrocarbons. Mid-winter WoS is not the ideal time to be trying to start a new (or refurbished) processing facility, so a target of end Q1/Q2 2019 seems perfectly acceptable to me, even if all the Sub-Sea hook-ups are completed in late 2018. | steve73
02/10/2017 12:00 | For a couple of million HUR shares they could have got Somali pirates to 'nick' PMO's brand new Catcher FPSO on its way back from Singapore (quick paint job, new name) and exchange it for the AM as they passed each other in the Gulf of Aden. Yet another opportunity missed by this management! | fireplace22
02/10/2017 11:47 | Ok we live in anticipation then, 18 months to first oil or maybe a bit earlier if the subsea work has fair weather. | davidblack
02/10/2017 11:45 | My local sailing club has plenty of buoys for the little boats to sail round. Maybe it would save a bit of money if I grab one of those and give it to the company? | hiddendepths
02/10/2017 11:29 | In the presentation the AM is due to be complete in Q2 next year but due to undersea work it will not be required for tie up until Q4. So from that its the sub-sea installation work next summer that is the rate determining factor? | fireplace22
02/10/2017 11:22 | More pertinent perhaps is what is the rate determining step to first production? Refurb of the AM or? | fireplace22
02/10/2017 11:19 | So Steve what is your time expectation? | davidblack
02/10/2017 09:25 | My guess is that when the buoy is completed it will be trial fit to the AM, and then shipped to the field for connection of the anchor chains & risers, etc. The AM will follow when it's completed and simply pick up the buoy complete with all the connections. At least that's my understanding of how it will proceed. | steve73
02/10/2017 09:09 | re todays update ,shows you what I know ,will the bouy be transported via the akou mizou if being built very nearby | gibso6767
