I think our friendly buyer or buyers have cleaned up the market which was the prerequisite for seeing this stock at £1 the day first oil arrives.

lots or steps to take before we get there.

Interesting auction. 431,000 at 33p - above the closing offer price.

Probably shows that there's still substantial buying interest.

It is noticeable that on the fourth day of a strong run, when some of the steam has been dissipating from the sp, we've seen the strongest volume.

A 25m share trade after days of going up is an interesting event.

Either a seller has been cleaned out or a big buyer filled an order. Most likely both.

Either way this is good for "Ungluing" the stock.

The last time it traded at 34p or higher was 4th July (34.25p). (36m+ traded so far today)

It was at 34p so unlikely to be a sell. Maybe it's a buy that's been worked for a few days now. If it's a sell, I would think that the buyer has accumulated a lot more than that. I wonder if we're going to get a holdings RNS or two before too long!

I never professed to know where the buying was coming from- I left that to you guys- I was just suggesting it was ii...As they are the ones who normally move the price...I didn`t suggest it was only one either or know which ones...

No, I didn't know BP had some shares- or I had forgotten at least....Can you provide a link to the BP holdings RNS?

Looks like another decent volume day today nibbling away at loose sellers.

On the basis that there has been one large buyer?

If so they have quite an appetite and clearly don't want to disturb the price more than necessary. Just eat away at the offer and support the bids.

Having said that, on less than 50m shares traded, both buys and sells the price has risen from 27.5p to 33.5p ish in a week.

That is a 22% rise, not small beer!
