I find that the most efficient way of accessing RNS announcements is to look at Investegate every morning at 7:01.

You get a list of all the day's RNSs, it takes a minute to scan them and you can drill down into any that catch your eye.

gary - Agreed that name-calling is unnecessary and rude. Nevertheless there really is no point posting up RNSs not only because of the alert system but also because of a number in the AN column beside the company on any watchlist, which I'm sure gets people to look at whatever the news is.

So it is a safe assumption that anyone who reads these boards has already seen any news.

Blue Investments has been in since pre-AIM days. Maybe some of those interested in the new holder have connections with Blue. There might even be good tax planning behind it all, who can say?In the context of existing investors, I don't see any impact.

Morning Ray, highly likely IMO, seller gets a premium because of the size and purchaser gets a discount as would have to keep buying to get that amount with the share price rising all the time as a result. Nice straightforward agreement between the two of them.

The other risk I keep in mind is that of a market crash in the US and its potential impact on the oil price. On many measures the US equity markets look overvalued. I am not saying a crash is going to happen now but it will at some point. It could happen 6 months, 12 months a year or two from here. In 2008/9 the oil price dropped precipitously and it took 6 months before the oil price started to turn.

There is even a risk of a potential double-whammy of US market crash + a breakdown in Opec/Non-Opec cooperation.

What is worse? HUR and its shareholders missing out on some potential upside or HUR making the biggest NS discovery this century and then being taken out for what we consider a pittance because of another temporary oil price drop and HUR being underfunded.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see a substantial portion of HUR's next round of fund-raising happening prior to the Opec decision on extension.

Darcon - The PoO has always been a factor for HUR and for a great many other companies too. Any FID and inward investment could well reflect this 'risk'. Equally though the PoO could rise dramatically given many unforeseen eventualities.

I don't want to see HUR paying a premium for downside investment risk in the PoO only to see the PoO rise and leave us out of pocket.
