Three million shares traded at 1pm with plenty on offer at 30p and lots of buyers at 30.25p.

So more treacle churning! The upside being lots of buyers although I would object if a an institution cleared the lot!

Investing is a funny old game though. I'm sure most of us have been in shares that have romped to the top of the hill and all the way down again, all the while with us remaining holders. Oh, hang on a minute!

So why are to trying to build your ego here.Dont worry about my investment here you need to worry about your short position as the the price can move against you in a split second and could trigger your stop and if you dont have a stop you will be worried about getting a call from yiur broker to top up your account or they will close your trade.NOT A GOOD WAY TO LIVE.Gamblers never prosper.

Jacks13, many thanks. The interview was on 11th April. Dr Trice mentions a ' busy six months ahead ' i.e. getting all the data together .. hence presumably we might expect a CPR mid October or thereabouts. Thank you again.

jacks13, Re next CPR, From the finals in May:

Subsurface

The immediate subsurface work plan is to fully evaluate and correlate the Lancaster, Lincoln and Halifax wells. Such work includes detailed petrophysical analysis, fracture picking, reservoir modelling, reservoir simulation and further seismic mapping. The work plan is intended to refine existing analytical techniques, narrow in-house volumetric assessments and establish potential well sites for further exploration and / or appraisal drilling.

Output from this work will also feed into the planned 2017 second phase of a revised CPR which is intended to provide an update on resource estimates for the assets not covered in the May 2017 CPR. This new CPR is expected to be completed in late 2017.

bushman, I'm not sure there is any mention of a second cpr in any of the rnss, or on the company website, although I stand to be corrected on that. The first firm mention of the second cpr that I can recall came in an interview Dr Trice had with Malcy in April. In the interview Robert Trice gave a lot of detail regarding the 2016-17, Greater Lancaster (GLA) and Greater Warwick (GWA) drilling campaigns.

In particular and of interest to yourself, is his brief mention (11m 30s) of the analysis of core-data that is underway and the expectation of an update later in the current year.

If you've not already seen the interview it is worth watching as it effectively draws a line under the company's drilling operations up to this point. It also sets the context for the latest fund-raising and FID. Any new investor will find it invaluable in getting up to speed on where the company is at:

ps. jaded long-termers might find it rekindles their enthusiasm!

Many thanks DB and Chessman. I have a reasonable holding in HUR bought these last two months, hence determining time frames for positive news to move the share price.

This game is all about patience as I'm convinced we will win but I'm unsure when. I have a large holding and like others have been here for some time as I know we have a winning position.

I understand a CPR is due before the end of the year. When I return home from Edinburgh this week I'll try to dig up the details.

The other point which should be made is that at any time, a big player may try to check us and take the GLA from us. The technology works ok everywhere else in the world so why not in the Shetland islands. And why else have BP and Shell bought the surrounding fields?
