29/3/2009 13:54 | capitalisation £527m, cash £372m. At 400p per share, cash is 280p, the company 120p. Profits £58m., so real P:E is 2 and real divi is 8% The market is an idiot | dextroisomerism

15/3/2009 12:51 | True. Although it is not a zero sum game. The guys they sold to are not idiots either Riverstone/Carlyle who bought an oil sands mid-stream business which is not going to be very profitbale in the short term with oil at $40 but will come into its own over their investing timeframe of 3-5 year investment because oil could be back to $100-200 in that time frame. I would rather be on the Hunting side of the deal in the short term though. | robson1974
15/3/2009 10:48 | ihavenoclue re:posting 116. I still believe HTG will go to 700. A strong company. The board should be congratulated at selling the least attractive parts of the company at a top price. They now have the cash to buy up earning enhancing assets at bargain prices. I think their stategy is masterful. | dextroisomerism

They will go to 700. pyman - 12 Dec'08 - 10:16 - 12 of 115 now that chart is looking nice.
