Q4 2022 Production Outlook

The Company's mining targets include approximately 430,000 tonnes of ore from the KE deposit at higher grades, and has budgeted a base case of processing 385,000 tonnes of ore with potential for increased throughput of higher grade material.
==========

Bored so did a little maths.

Assuming HUM hit Q4 target of 385k processed (33% better than Q3)
and using Komana East's 2.99 g/t to improve Q4's average to say 2.4 g/t (26% improvement on Q3)

So Q3's 16,827k oz + 30% + 25% = 27,500 oz

So that's my prediction for Q4 :)

Then we get onto the really bad stuff in our imaginary RNS...
"In the light of this continued poor performance, Coris Bank have decided not to extend further finance to Hummingbird, and the board are currently assessing their options, which include freezing the build of Kouroussa in order to retain cash. Shareholders are advised that Hummingbird shares may not have any remaining value."

Shall we have a game of complete the Q4 announcement? Who's next?

I wonder how much will get skimmed off the higher grade ore.

Q4 production RNS will probably begin something like: "Due to factors outside of the company control the expected higher grade ore....

Current inflation is a result of the over supply of money... Demand destruction alone won't cure that, you'll just end up with low growth and inflation.

Well done, Temujiin and wskill for having the guts to buy in again. I'm just going to wait for the 4th qtr to pay up, hopefully, on good news. Whatever the recovery in the share price on good news, I'll be averaging down.

I do think that the Directors have bought significant amounts of shares even if the cost is not. The 4th qtr is make or break time and their buying now suggests the former.

The Dollar Index seems to be rolling over, presumably on the thought that the US economy IS moving into recession this quarter, requiring a less aggressive rate posture beyond next week's 75bp increase. Both are positive for the gold price.

Note that the US 10YR yield has dropped from 4.3% on Friday to 4.1% today.

From Bloomberg:

Cutting back on purchases? That helps fight inflation and gives Powell some cover from consumers that may bring a pivot toward lower rates closer.

TR1's are submitted to the nomad by the securties registered owner. Whilst it's a regulatory requirment of participation, it is never policed or enforced. I've seen loads of examples of TR1 requirements being ignored/forgotten about.

I certainly wouldn't be placing any bets on them

#sclper, if we do not see a II TR1 tomorrow, you might be right, but it would be unusual for MMs not to keep a flat book, speculating is not really their game, but that said 4.6p was a bargain and they had someones pants down.. :o)

Indicated buys are higher than sells the last two days, there might be a seller about, so we may hover around this level until it's cleared.

The 2,150,000 shares just bought by directors will help clear the seller if there is one.

I think the market makers bought the 3% block of stock at a discount and sold it into the market at around 5 to 6p. The notification for a trade of this size is usually delayed until the market makers have already sold the stock

Just look at their website and LinkedIn

So that's your evidence :)

Sorry I seriously thought you might have some news articles of disasters, them being sued by Barrick, cattle rustling etc.... But yeah, website not up to your standards and LinkedIn....Lol

Re Director purchases, they aren't significant in terms of money or % of total shares, but they certainly can't be dismissed as meaningless.

The 12million dump on Monday will have a longer lasting supressing effect on the share price if whoever bought it at 4.6p, is dumping it back onto the market at 5p for a smallish profit.

Just look at their website, no more needs to be said.

While you’re at it you may want to look at the company history and employees on LinkedIn, plenty there to suggest they are a corrupt cowboy outfit

Morning Trader, found any evidence of Corica being a 'cowboy outfit' yet?

If you haven't others might think you spout shiite on companies that you hold no shares on, just for the attention ;)

500,000 shares (£29,500) for Dan is equivalent to just 5% of his annual salary drawn from HUM. To put that in perspective it’s no different to someone on the average wage of £28k investing £1400 (5%)

Ie insignificant

Oh please - 3 separates RNSs? For a grand total of £100k between them? The so-called FD/CFO committing all of £7.5k?

It's pathetic - but illuminating.
