I see that the LSE bb has been taken over now by yet another delusional moron AKA "BushyTailed"? Climb back into your tree FFS before you fall and hurt yourself there's a good squirrel. You're obviously completely and utterly nuts.

The interesting thing is the divergence between nominal and real bond rates. US TIPS have now got a negative yield.

That should carry forward into the precious metals market, but at the moment nominal yields are making the running.

I have to agree that HUM have most probably bottomed. How fast and how much they rise is open to debate, but I think gold itself is very close to a key major low. Gold is likely to stage a very dynamic advance as sentiment swings back in its favour.

Its clearly got hammered by the rise in US bond yields, particularly the 10yr as the yield exceeded 1.5%. That could rise a bit more, so with inflation currently low, the attractions for holding non yielding gold diminished. However, Jerome Powell knows full well that he cannot let US interest rates rise much more as that would make it very difficult to service the $30 trillion of debt. As someone recently said, 5% rates would make the US insolvent. Obviously the markets would take fright well before rates got that high, which they may eventually do to try and stop rampant inflation.

Inflation is the other side of the equation that is holding gold back at present. However, that is highly likely to start increasing beyond current perceptions before long. So the realisation that US rates are capped (by the FED) and inflation is on the rise will channel money back into gold.

That is another reason why I think that gold is forming a giant cup and handle pattern that targets a rise to $3000 (give or take) when $2075 is taken out. It may eventually do more than that, depending on how much the FED mishandles the inflation problem.

In the environment of plus $2075 gold, Hummingbirds current AISC of $1500 will be somewhat academic.

Wow, gold down again an we have gone up a whole penny. not be before bloody time as well over sold. There are gold stocks out there 3 times the share price and no money to show for it yet. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on and just how much gold do you have to produce before the share price goes up to match.

GL JB.Add, add and trade to get even more. 350k ounces a year on a 20% margin is north of 2 billion mcap, easily. That's £6 a share or a mere 28 times of current share price If you're not a trader you should just hold onto them for 5 years and definitely ignore the noise in here

I wouldn’t say filled my boots by any means (you’d have to be mad to hold a significant number of these) but bought another modest holding at 21.25. Again I’ll look to offload ASAP. See if I can can beat my gains of last time

The longer the base the higher in space, Over 6 years and some decent targets to aim at there over the next couple of years. I have full confidence that this is going to make me a lot of money.

Lol.. Dream on Charleee,

If you think they'll value the opinions of moaning PI's with a confirmed 10% holding over that of say Miton with sub 1% holding then you're in la la land.

HUM is majority owned by Insti's so long as they don't have any major gripes then it's crack on and full speed ahead, like it or lump it.

One project running and net cash positive, two to go.

I would think quite a few of the list of shareholders are merely the nominee companies in which shares are held.

The first objective is to make the company aware that they have shareholders with whom they are required to communicate honestly and effectively.

That Mello presentation was an abortion.

They could start by taking a leaf out of Stalker's book: Pasofino presentations and Stalker in person are clear, concise and credible. Added to that, he makes a point of being contactable.

Hum needs new investors and the "shop window" needs polishing to attract such investors.

There is a more subtle point to the group, since it makes management aware that they are accountable: currently. HUM is run more like a private entity, with a dose of nepotism to cheer up "outsiders" aka shareholders. As with animals, carrying a stick can greatly enhance the outcome and the bigger the stick (ie size of group) the more success it can achieve.

I only stay invested in HUM, because of Stalker. It will be a bonus if HUM management can be upskilled (and a double bonus if they could add telling the truth to their CVs).

Not really, it's seems a little wishy washy to me.

Don't get me wrong, I think it could be a fantastic idea. Just not sure what the point is, what you're actually trying to achieve, or what the initial motivation was.
