I’ve heard your arguments before, which you’ve just repeated, but only a fool, a terrible investor, sits not taking a loss when they expect the share price to go down another 40-50%, as opposed to get their money working somewhere else.
To try to say they hold on just because it’s an insignificant part of the portfolio is just more tosh.

jbravo2 No, you are wrong. As I have previously explained, I held on for two main reasons so please listen carefully this time. 1. This is a only a small part of my portfolio and I didn't need the money. You only lose when you sell right? 2. I expected, (as many others did), that this would turn around by now. As soon as the share price went above 40 p (which was very briefly) I tried to unload ALL my shares (400,000) but here on the OTC market they would not trigger so I am unfortunately stuck with some. If the share price manages to get above 40 p again I will unload the rest.

lol Border you're an idiot.

This isn't my first visit to Hum, I've traded successfully a few times. No doubt you'll still be here after I've sold.

Give over BT
You do talk some tosh
You’re still here cos you haven’t been able to sell your shares for all that time?
No, as others have posted, you’re here because of some other reason.
Annoyed you lost money, know the management and fell out with them, didn’t get a job, got turned down on your proposal to one of them? ... I don’t know but pretending you’ve got some kind of higher moral duty to warn everyone here fools no-one, including those of us who happen to agree with most of what you say.

Plat Hunter That was the same advice that I got from financial director Tom Hill in an hour long telephone conversation with him about six months ago. I did sell some, but here on the NYSE nobody wanted the rest. At one time, there was an active HUMRF discussion page here in the US, Stockhouse Community, but over the years it has now been abandoned due to lack of interest. The market knows PH, at the moment you don't because you are new here, but I'm sure the penny will drop eventually.

I’m not bothered what he/they say/s. My concerns are always his/their actions.
The 1p share awards were a disgrace. They were 1500% in the money whilst they cratered everyone else’s shares by >50%. Disgusting. Whether they then tried to wriggle off the hook by pointing out how few of the options they got is irrelevant.
The award of contracts and deals done by this company is again poor. I suspect better for those involved than the shareholders.
Lastly to find out your in country manager is poor and needs replacing only now shows they’ve not had their eye on the ball that matters most for far too long.

It is the stupendous nature of the asset and the gold price that has saved them. That’s all.

Plat Hunter What I say here is echoing the sentiments of many others that invested here before you, ended up frustrated and moved on. The share price says it all. Good luck with your investment, you will need it.

jbravo2 Great post. The Ceo and management is the problem here. IMO they have displayed arrogant, greedy incompetence for too long. Wake up investors, don't keep trying to sugar coat this like some are doing. Get rid of the Ceo and the "on time and on budget" and "shareholder value" that he peddles and this will move but not before.

Well you’re both kind of right IMO. Why has it got to be so black or white?
It is too cheap at the moment but there is a ready supply of stock (this week at least) meaning there’s no rush to dip a toe.
A move back to 40p is easily possible.
However...
This can only ever be a short term hold due to the points UKGeorge highlights, amongst others.
The management is poor and I don’t trust them at all. This is largely run for their benefit with shareholder value creation being incidental to lining their pockets. That means a long term hold is unlikely to succeed unless the management leopard suddenly changes its spots.

That 5 year mining plan they announced this year was a waste of time then wasn't it.

Honestly, what do some people actually do for research.. make it up and if no one corrects you then it's a fact?

Plat the mine life is 3-4 years. So why would it be valued on 10 x earnings?

This company is like the boy who called wolf. Always promising that next year will be different.

There are so many other good resource plays that report correctly, deliver, have equally good prospects and less risk. Not to mention frankly discustingly greedy 1p options.

I still hold a few of these but they are a speculative punt that one day the company actually delivers.

You realise 50 million a year is only a 500 million mcap on a mere 10 x earnings and that they've made 60 million this year whilst missing production target?Just on current production alone, you may have waited along time, but the hard work has been done and the money is currently sitting in the bank as we speak.
