24/11/2020 08:31 | #Chip, could we have a bar graph for daily volume in the header.. ? makes it easier to see what sort of a numbers day we are having here.., it does seem to me that SC are still reducing although why is any ones guess but their fund managers have their own strategy, hopefully we will see a declaration sometime soon on the change to their position.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/11/2020 08:07 | Settlement day for November on Wednesday and all the usual antics exacerbated by margin trading: once a sharp fall is started, it always has the cascade effect. Upcoming results for most of these miners should be excellent: it has been "a get out of jail free" card for any producer carrying debt on the balance sheet (such as HUM), This has been an excellent year in consolidation financially and the exploration program on multiple projects adds such future potential. I always dismissed Dugbe, but Ian Stalker's appearance certainly changes that perception: it does now look to be the swan song of a very successful man: interesting comment from you, Good Grief, on his last project and how much capital value added for shareholders. 23/11/2020 19:47 | new-buyer No point in ramping this up anymore. After five miserable years, it's time to pack your bags and go home for Christmas. This co. is well and truly finished. | borderterrier1
23/11/2020 18:03 | "Gold plummeted to four-month lows below $1,835 an ounce on Monday as renewed risk appetite across markets and a stronger dollar redirected money from the safe haven into stocks and other risk assets like oil."Strong dollar until Biden prints trillions :) I can't worry about $1800 gold price when 12 months ago I didn't even dream of it. $1300 gold price makes this company undervalued. I expect gold to head towards $2k again in coming months. | aimsurfer
23/11/2020 17:35 | Just got back from having the car serviced. Ouch! Gold dropped like a stone after 2.40pm to $1831. The timing suggests US investors. I would have expected HUM to decline. Perhaps, perceptions of its prospects have improved. I'd rather not see that theory tested any further. | dickbush

23/11/2020 13:40 | Note the three clear cycles in the price and the stochastics since March. Things happen after the end of the third cycle! Also note that the third cycle shows three cycles within it.....so I think we are very close to lift off. It is still possible that it could touch 30p but i'm not expecting that. Finally the shape of the chart since the July high is an Elliott Wave Flat correction. Basically that's....down...up. Fingers crossed. | bikwik

22/11/2020 14:20 | What a great partner to have driving the Dugbe project! Did he mention production by 2023?I saw K92 present a couple of years ago at 35 cents. Now over 675 cents. | goodgrief

20/11/2020 12:45 | Bought my final amount of HUM today. I think the risk of a final dip to 30p is not so likely now. I'm thinking that the 31.25p on Wednesday was either the low or close to it. The rising 200 day moving average currently sits at 31.03p. If it does have one more dip then 30p is a very strong support and it should bounce hard from there. Of course i'm looking for it to do it sooner. Also, I think gold posted an important low yesterday at $1851.80. Timing was pretty good as yesterday was within a day of the Fibonacci 0.786 ratio (based on 74 days down from the August high compared with 96 days up from the March low). It was also 8 days (Fibo)from the $115 one day plunge on the 9th Nov. The weekly coppock is now back under zero and in prime position to start turning up soon. Quite a few gold stocks are starting to anticipate this now I think. Still early days though, but brighter times ahead I feel. Thanks for the table Chip BTW. GLA | bikwik
19/11/2020 13:24 | Following BIKWIK's post earlier. I have made up the following table of forecast PE's from SharePad. 19/11/2020 11:48 | HUM's market cap is insane. I have just been looking back at the Yanfolila reserves update and mine plan at the beginning of the year (and which should be updated again soon as they do so annually on a rolling basis and have probably largely completed the drilling campaign for this year). Given that we are now net debt free, the next 4 years, as per that now outdated plan, is for over 100,000 oz.p.a. free and clear. What they are hoping to do is not only extend the length of life, but also increase the annual output (which that 2nd ball mill assists). With their $5 million exploration, they could be adding extraordinary value and I do think it will be a real driver for the share price Having Kouroussa an an "overlap" project is brilliant I will probably upset SHG holders, but their next project is just too far away and that equity raise recently was not a good sign. I really am looking forward to the Kouroussa mining licence, as that is "firing the starting pistol". Preparation is obviously useful, but it would be imprudent to commit too much until the licence is rubber stamped. Dugbe could just be so exciting: it is the team that are operating that which gives me great encouragement. It is Stalker's region specific knowledge and his start to finish experience(ie build the mine) which makes it look as if this could be a real winner. They really are cracking on and that is where experience shows (as of course, will also be true of Kouroussa, being Yanfolila Mark 2). I also bought again today GLA | charlieeee
19/11/2020 10:58 | Just for interest for me (and you) I just ran through the EPS forecasts from Pro share for 15 UK listed gold (and some silver) shares to check P/E's for 2020 and 2021. I'm not saying that a low P/E is necesarily a good indication of potential but its worth comparing. In order then we get: Price P/E (2020) P/E (2021) HUM 32p 4.0 2.8 SRB 83p 5.7 2.5 TSG 100p 6.7 5.0 CMCL 1190p 7.8 4.3 POG 27.45p 9.1 5.1 POLY 1673p 9.7 7.7 CEY 111.8p 11.1 11.1 AAU 5.1p 11.6 11.6 PAF 20.8p 11.7 3.9 SHG 15p 17.4 3.5 HOC 218.8p 28.0 7.4 FRES 1119p 29.5 14.1 RSG 45.49p 46.4 5.7 GFM 87p 71.3 8.9 PUR 133p - 12.5 | bikwik |
