Gold seems to be fluctuating relative to the US stimulus talks. Whether it happens this week or not don't think matters. It will definitely happen or millions in US losing their jobs.

Depends on your strategy. Personally, if it doesn't go back to 27-28 that's fine as I already have a position. I like this stock as many do. GLA

If people were saying the same thing as me six years ago when there wasn't even any mining or earnings, then I can safely say that they are not as smart or as well informed as myself.

Parabolic SAR switched position today to support, with a stop loss at 26.10

Currently trading at a PE of 2.72 with Q4 & YE results coming in 30 days... Is it worth trying to save the equivalent difference of a couple of ticks in the spread, versus the potential re-rate to 10x earnings on such a low liquidity stock?

Plat Hunter You seem to be ignoring the FACTS here for your own personal agenda. Smart, well informed investors like you have been saying EXACTLY what you're saying about this for over six years. That's a FACT. The share price NEVER moves much above 40 p. But I'm "poorly informed and clueless?" Really ?????? And BTW, you are absolutely right to envy me. It's 78 degrees here today and FABULOUS weather. I'm going fishing.

Gold's seeing its forecast pullback. More likely to test $1800 before it clears $1875.
Still think $1765 will hold. Then a fresh advance that takes out $1875 and over $1900. See Jim Curry's cycle analysis....he's good.

Had a look at the daily MACD histograms for all the uk listed gold and silver producers. All are in overbought territory and now rotating down, so personally I wouldn't buy any just yet. The only one that's moving back into buy territory is GFM, but that's predominantly a Zinc producer. Has some gold and silver production. Looking at the chart of HUM it looks like it needs a further drop back before its ready to start a decent rally (over 31.50p will set that in motion).

We all know its dirt cheap, but as we all know the market moves in mysterious ways! Im waiting to buy some more if it hits 27p to 28p.

Anyone want to play with some more numbers?

Before the Dugbe deal, Pasofino Gold (aka Enforcer Gold) was selling for 3 1/2 cents Canadian at its March low. You can make your own assumption about where VEIN shares would be selling now without the Dugbe deal, I've assumed it would be up 2/3rds now i.e. to 6cents. At the current share price of 19 cents that leaves the 49% of Dugbe they own worth $C37.2mil. That means HUM's 51% is worth $C38.7mil i.e. £22.7mil. That'sa pretty big chunk of HUM's market value. So, all those p/e and EV/EBIDA calculations can take a significant downwards adjustment.

If you want to play with different assumptions, help yourself.

Plat. I know you are but please don't apologize, you obviously can't help it. Lots of "shrewd investors" have made exactly the same mistakes you're making here. You'll learn.........eventually.

But then, so did multitudes of others. I guess we're not all as smart as you. I am happy to wait another 5 years for when this is trading at 10p. Meanwhile I will stick to gold miners that give (as Ceo Del Boy promised us all waaaaaay back in 2015) "shareholder value." I guess he's a gold minor, not a gold miner?

See we are dragging our feet again inspite of the recent rally in gold, which in my book has further to go before the year is out. Come on Hum get your skates on or get some pills down yha.

Bought in a few days ago on the "bad " news.

Provided POG remains at current levels HUM should do well next year.
