I just thought it would be worth posting this key paragraph from the recent annual report:

Trading Performance, Share Price & Value

During the period Hummingbird's share price rose from 12.5p to 18p, and post period end achieved highs of up to 27p. We issued 236,288,781 new shares in return for US$76m.

Based on this capital structure and looking forward to our first year of full scale production, this marks Hummingbird out as the standout gold developer trading in the public markets. It is trading on 1.26 times projected free cash flow for the first full year of production against an industry average which can range anywhere from 15-25 times. In the first full year of production, cash flow per share will be 20p.

This assessment of Hummingbird's exceptional position in the market does not take our 4.2Moz Dugbe gold project in Liberia into account. Broker Cantor Fitzgerald has suggested that this project could offer significant further upside and add a further 14p in value.

It is with this in mind that I firmly believe that Hummingbird is due a re-rating in the market as it evolves into a profitable mining company and delivers the significant free cash flow highlighted in our DFS.

Bantam - agreed it looks very odd but when all's said and done someone bought the shares and paid the going rate for them so I'm not too worried about it.

Thd 8M trade is interesting, potentially that's the supply gone at these levels, if so won't take much fresh demand to push into the 30s.

I reread the annual report last night and spent some time on the web site, this comes across as a very professional outfit.

The first sniff of gold production and this will go up VERY quickly.

topped up again....IMO if first poor does happen on timetable this year, and gold IMO will start to motor given political uncertainty esp. in USA etc, then this is v. cheap DYOR.....not for widows and orphans but nearing the "Prove" it point so all to play for....GLA

Made a small entry here this morning. I sense that when this goes it will go quickly.

Interesting that I couldn't initially get a quote on £3k. I was offered a fill or kill, or limit order. Tried again 5 minutes later and this time got a quote....

volume here seems pretty high for a penny share ? Prospects look good for this company provided targets are met.

I'm waiting for Aguinaga but I wouldn't want to wait around for SOLG to become a bloody miner..that's far too long term for me

if city looks forward 6-12 months, IMO following these results, there may be a few buying into the launch/first "poor" as it were later this year and then ongoing production.....i'm in ahead of a summer share price appreciation.....GLA
