21/8/2017 10:45 | Div -- not that hard. Take a look at AMER. Games being played atm.. Not ramping. Should never be 16p ish. The game will come to an end. DYOR or read the AMER bb. | westmoreland lad
21/8/2017 10:05 | Zhockey, that last statement of yours about hard to find value now compared with 18 months ago applies equally to the oil sector. | divmad
21/8/2017 09:55 | Oil is my favourite sector and yes PVR :) Obviously Druid was a big setback but they paid no money to drill that well. Priced just over cash with some great assets. You would have to be very brave to buy before the Drombeg news, could be a good entry after that but you never know. P.S. I was big on gold 18 months ago when the miners were priced to go bust, much harder finding value now. | zhockey
19/8/2017 09:43 | Great time now to be buying gold/gold stocks .I believe it's seasonality of gold that is driving the price rather than world events. August and September historically great months for gold see below article hxxps://dailyreckoni | tens machine
18/8/2017 23:01 | "Hummingbird not a binary punt imo" Exactly! And that's why I can't logic the current price, but I guess we'll all reap the rewards when the penny drops.... | darola
18/8/2017 18:59 | trading around 1285 now but worth bearing in mind hum will generate sterling i believe. Back in April 2016 the feasibility study suggested good solid economics at 1250. During that month gold hit 1285 but only equated to 890/oz Today were looking at 1000 but my glass is always half full and i certainly will not be relying on currency movements. GL all | jwhitw
18/8/2017 16:59 | Probably he shorts the stock or trying to acquire some. None of us are posting here for charitable reasons. | prem124
18/8/2017 16:24 | On reading zhockey's posts for a while, I conclude that he's a glass half empty investor. | rhuvaal2
18/8/2017 14:58 | jwhitw -- ;-) but it's not ouch yet re. Drumbeg. Prayer mat / hip flask / potty at the ready for use early doors Tuesday onwards. Hummingbird not a binary punt imo. GL | westmoreland lad
18/8/2017 14:31 | Gold briefly breached $1300 today. | bittorrent
18/8/2017 14:08 | hi all, i am a newbie to the forum but been with hummingbird quite some time. Seems we have turned a corner at long last. GL to all hummers. Westmoreland lad , i think the answer is PVR. ouch | jwhitw
18/8/2017 12:53 | or any other stock for that matter ? | westmoreland lad
18/8/2017 12:44 | zhockey, is there a LSE gold miner that you currently like? | spooky
18/8/2017 11:11 | A pe of 5 is probably fair, that is pretty much where they are now. | zhockey
18/8/2017 10:25 | One mine but a larger asset in Dugbe to bring on line. Yanfolila will prove they have the capability to turn exploration in to production, Dugbe provides pipeline, plus the company will have significant cash to buy further assets over the multiple production years (8+) that they already have in the bag. Not a one trick pony by any means. | darola
18/8/2017 10:16 | Darola, You cannot give an industry pe when they have one mine with limited life. | zhockey
18/8/2017 09:21 | One thing I don't understand is why is Cora gold being spun out if the deposits are within trucking distance of Yanfolila. My only guess is the other 50% owner wants it to be. It will be very annoying if in two years or so Hummingbird then buys it back.... | ukgeorge
17/8/2017 22:07 | A little early on my 233k buy! But not here for quick wins. Here for next years rerating. So long as they continue to keep to schedule and delivery expectations, a levelling with the rest of the industry to a PER of around 8 or 9 puts these at circa 70p with still plenty of upside and the potential of a high div return if they circulate the free cash. | darola
17/8/2017 21:10 | Added my highest priced 10k today. Still in bargain territory for LTHs. | divmad
17/8/2017 20:47 | O k D It's all about use of English. Over means during as I understand it. End of Sept is the end of Q3. Dan Betts tends to meet his promises at present and likes to communicate . I'm a LTH so happy whenever news comes and hope it continues to be positive. I suppose an issue might be is updating the website what might happen or an interim RNS. | friendzarin
17/8/2017 20:33 | Take a look at slide 18. Plenty going on Aug/Sept. An RNS is highly likely around the end of September as a number of key milestones are hit. Still got a few boxes to tick, but all planned and calculated so risks are minimal. Another wave of buying must be due soon. Less than 19weeks to the first pour. | darola
17/8/2017 16:55 | I too am expecting news reasonably soon and certainly this month based on what Dan Betts said in July 'We are very excited about keeping the market and our shareholders abreast of developments over this very busy third quarter' That would suggest to me something will appear in August | friendzarin
17/8/2017 16:24 | Edjge2 - Personally, I think the next RNS will only be in September. Pre-production mining should begin then, and we should be notified of that. | bookwormrobert
17/8/2017 16:15 | Next RNS awaited | edjge2 |
