35p would seem a reasonable price to start the next phase.

Pressure cooker this one, be interesting to see when the interest kicks it to life. The more they report they are on track and the closer we get to 17/12 must at some point have a reaction.

And the news that announces the success of the first pour! Boom! That's why we are all here.

zhockey,

If you don't like Hum, just disappear, there's a good chap. Nobody here is interested in your PVR story.

Ha that is the single biggest misconception going re. Oil.

I wasn't ramping PVR but the subject of "other shares" came up, seeing as PVR have such an important event coming up I thought I'd mention it.

The EPS was from my broker, take it up with them if you don't agree.

zhockey - really, you're just ramping another share here whilst talking complete garbage about Hummingbird. Some facts for you: free cash flow of 20p per share in first year of HUM operation (assuming gold at $1250), small drop off in production second year, mine life currently 8 years, but it will almost certainly be extended out to 12-18 years with further exploration (see company website and document exploration.pdf for details).
I've no idea about PVR, but it sounds like an all or nothing AIM sucker's share to me. And, anyway, all oil shares are best avoided, IMO. The age of fossil fuels is ending very rapidly.

Where'd u get 4p from?

Charles, success is priced in here already. 1st year of production should be their best and brokers have an eps of 4p for 2018. It's a small reserve and once the grade drops off I don't think you'll get the multibag folks are expecting. 30% perhaps over next 3 years if gold holds up.

Gersemi, PVR are undervalued by at least half based on discover oil. Exploration upside is not priced in so it isn't binary. Also if the drill is a success it will 5-10bag before you can buy a share.

Stick with this and you won't be disappointed imho

Yes, but the binary nature of PVR's drilling campaign leaves you open to a massive loss of capital fella should they fail to find nowt. My advice, buy PVR after the drilling result. Yes, you miss out on good gains but rather that than lose a significantly greater amount should the result prove a dud...always, always protect against the downside cos once that capital is lost it is lost forever

PVR is the place to be over the next few weeks, they are drilling the biggest oil well anywhere this year, and only valued at £110M.

You may want to have a look at GPM if you want a basket of gold stock. Trading at a substantial discount to nav at the moment. Not for everyone though as some like to pick their own 'basket'

Darola ~ just about the best 'staid' gold stock. I am also into OMI, CGH, EUA, AAU and HOC. Like the idea of having a basket of PM stocks: some will rocket ahead (in time) and others may wither a bit. Good luck to everyone.

Two noteworthy buys 318k and 300k both @ 27.25
followed by three sales totalling 380k @ 27

the chart starting to look pretty promising imo a little higher and it should break higher.

roll on production

Yep not a massive margin for error if you factor in less than 100k oz mined in the first year / delays.

The bank are charging 9% interest rate, they are hardly a charity.

The most important thing is commercial production, until that is declared this could still go belly up. Take a look at what happened with Aureus mining (now Avesoro Resourcces).

This is why the share price is not re rating. IMO
