24/6/2019 08:32 | Great gold leveraged play. With its high costs, any increase in the gold price has a greater impact on the bottom line. Looking good, especially as the run of problems are sorted and behind us imo. | ![]() plasybryn

24/6/2019 07:21 | No LOM RNS this morning but promised in Q2 and as said previously I would expect it to be issued on the day of the AGM (26th June). Interesting to see CORA flying and an RNS this morning with Lord Farmer increasing his holding, would be great to see something similar from the BOD or associated parties of HUM. Q2 nearly out the way now and gold flying, so we go into Q3 now to see how that goes with the ballmill commissioning to be completed this Q too. All looking positive. | new_buyer
24/6/2019 07:18 | napoleon I have no issue keeping it civil but lets see if borderterrier can keep it civil too. backmarker, no loss!! | new_buyer

21/6/2019 13:28 | Learnt from their mistakes is different from your being caught up in conspiracies.By the way BT the correct term is it’s not its when it is short for it is or it has, just thought you should know (not now). :) | new_buyer
21/6/2019 11:46 | NB "Hopefully the Bod will have learned from their mistakes?" Well I never! Isn't that exactly what I have been saying? I guess your eleven year old has convinced you its always better to tell the truth instead of constantly accusing others of lying? BTW it's "were" out of their control not "where". Just thought you should now. :) | ![]() borderterrier1
21/6/2019 09:31 | Hopefully the BOD have learnt from their mistakes but some of the issues were out of their control but some certainly were (Bunker Hill for example) but the focus needs to be on Yanfolila this year and meeting or exceeding guidance and keeping a lid on AISC. The ball mill could turn out to be an inspired decision if they can meet the guidance on production and increase the LOM, time will tell. | new_buyer
21/6/2019 07:59 | Hum are producing gold Hum will be producing increased gold from September at reduced costs. Mine problem was due to unusually excessive high rainfall Hum management will have learnt a .ot from resolving the rain issue in terms of multi partner integrated working, improved quality assurance, and coroporate mine safety issues. There are now increased reasons to be positive. Updates: 1. Resource and Reserves 2. LOM 3. Scoping studies on Gonka and Komana East 4. 2019 Guidance update AGM is next Wedenesday | ![]() rickyhatton
21/6/2019 07:41 | PoG may be going up, but HUM needs to be producing gold to make money. on the face of it, the story so far seems reasonably good, and the outlook very positive. HOWEVER...... it seemed to me that, following the bad weather issues which led to the dent in production and extra costs for remedial work, a large amount of criticism of the bod seemed to appear and which was not just confined to their possible prevention and actual management of those issues, but suggested some general and ongoing incompetence. as a relative newcomer to HUM, impressed by the "on target, within budget" commissioning of Yanfolila, I want to determine whether continued confidence in the management is justified, or whether there is good reason to be wary about HUM's future. | ![]() backmarker

20/6/2019 19:48 | backmarker, happily, who knows if last year was a one off, hopefully it was and the next few months will answer your question but good news is hopefully coming with the LOM extension and the Q2 figures. Long term I think a second asset will help immensely but Dugbe might be too big unless a bigger partner can be found. CORA is an interesting question too, just around the corner and 18% already owned by HUM. Now I wonder what other comments will be coming your way!! | new_buyer
20/6/2019 15:56 | The way gold is going we could attract a partner for Liberia and have a nice free carry to production. | ![]() wskill
20/6/2019 15:50 | hey guys, can you put your bickering aside and keep this thread to discussing HUM. the question for me is whether the dent in production ultimately due to the weather last year is a true one-off, or whether there is still a lot of risk. if we are now back on track then with the rise in the PoG floating all ships we should eventually reach new highs. who agrees ? | ![]() backmarker

20/6/2019 14:17 | Didn't participate because HUM had/have a load of debt and lots of mine remediation costs. | goodgrief
20/6/2019 13:25 | Thanks Redtrend, I stand corrected. As we are going to need more ore to extend LOM, I am surprised we didn't participate. | ![]() bittorrent
20/6/2019 12:15 | NB I was WRONG? Please look at the chart. Hopefully from here there will be some improvement, only time will tell. | ![]() borderterrier1 |
