13/7/2018 17:15 | For nearly half a year the price has been flirting with 32p. The only change, mainly due to the strong dollar imo, has been 32p changed from a support to a resistance line. That's it. | casual47
13/7/2018 17:07 | What constant slide? I bought shares around this price several weeks ago. It's virtually been unchanged. While the BOD needs to keep an eye on the share price it is not something they can control. Simple fact is strong dollar = drop in gold = weakening gold miners. The whole sector has been hammered much more than HUM in the last quarter. In many ways HUM has held up splendidly compared to its peers and even majors. | casual47
13/7/2018 16:55 | UK George. "The constant slide is a worry". I agree, but not for the BOD apparently? | borderterrier1
13/7/2018 15:20 | Well George there u go I guess it's nice to have someone who knows what they are talking about on here sometimes! | charles clore
13/7/2018 13:47 | Charles, HUM has a high strip ratio and uses HFO to generate power which means the complete opposite of what you have said. | ukgeorge
13/7/2018 13:44 | I think all miners who use diesel generated electricity have been affected by higher fuel costs this year. HUM is fortunate to have a very low cost surface mining operation which lessens the impact of this. | charles clore
13/7/2018 12:31 | ? "There is huge potential to improve on the cost profile". | goodgrief
12/7/2018 08:02 | some info from FrontPageAfrica on Dugbe: hxxps://frontpageafr According to the company’s website, BCM Group began as “Bayswater Contracting”, a family firm in Western Australia in the early 1950s, primarily in the civil works and mining construction business. Under the same family ownership, BCM Group expanded into Ghana in 1990 and thereafter further into Mali, Tanzania, Guinea and Niger. By the year 2000, BCM had established itself as one of the leading mining and civil contractors in Sub-Saharan Africa, an area containing significant mineral wealth. In 2004, BCM became the first Western Style mining contractor in Central Asia and with operations in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The company had not done any mining or related operation prior to the arrival of the CDC-led government headed by President George Manneh Weah. In the past five months however, FrontPageAfrica has learned the company has stepped up interests in a number of ongoing projects in Liberia, including Putu Iron Ore, Wologisi, Tawana Resources Cape Mount Project and the Hummingbird concession which was last week vetoed by the President over what sources say was triggered by List who has made her intentions clear about securing the concession. ----------- While the President’s action was in keeping with Article 35 of the Liberian Constitution, FrontPageAfrica has learned that the move was triggered by interests from List. | gold panda
11/7/2018 11:33 | I would think around the end of the month, for Q2 results which should as they are in commercial production include cost data. The constant slide is a worry | ukgeorge
11/7/2018 11:19 | Expect it Monday or Tuesday. | darola
11/7/2018 11:12 | Burn baby burn... | goodgrief
11/7/2018 11:12 | If last year is anything to go by... then next week sometime. | goodgrief
11/7/2018 11:10 | This is a stonking short. Worth 10p max. | dianecarberry
11/7/2018 11:05 | Anyone know when the next update will be out? | simoore89
11/7/2018 11:02 | If they don't get to 50p plus they have been a failure. | ukgeorge
11/7/2018 10:42 | These are so f ing frustrating. | ukgeorge
10/7/2018 14:34 | Dear Diane! I'm not sure what you're on, but it would seem to be pretty powerful stuff. Please take care. P.s. Shorting Hummingbird could be seriously dangerous to your wealth. If HUM really was worth only 10p per share, then this company would be generating its entire market cap in free cash flow every six months. I.e. It could buy back all its own shares using its own money by the end of the year! | bookwormrobert
10/7/2018 14:10 | pp - yes as long as the host country doesn't get greedy and try to change the agreement. That could put the cat amongst the pigeons but I doubt that will happen as it would also upset every other miner in Mali, a country which exports more gold than any other commodity. | charles clore
10/7/2018 11:50 | Did someone say this is worth 10p? More like 50+. | peterpowell21
10/7/2018 09:08 | Judging by Diane's other posts, that one was devoid of expletives and other unrepeatable words, so we should congratulate her for her self-control. | divmad
09/7/2018 12:06 | CNR is a go go go for Gold finders | abbotslynn
09/7/2018 11:55 | LOL - let us know how that trade turns out | brucey6onus |
