17/7/2018 08:22 | Drip drip very frustrating | squash90
16/7/2018 21:57 | Fsj. Just read the last part of you lengthy post. I' one of the few that speak the truth on here and that's behaving like a delinquent? Why is it that because I tell it as it is other investors don't like what I have to say? Would it be better if, like you I perceive everything through rose tinted specs at tell everyone a lot of speculative BS? Hummingbirds repeated silence is deafening now and unfortunately, here in the US investors are moving out of gold into greener pastures. I don't like it anymore than you do, $100,000 invested, remember? | borderterrier1
16/7/2018 17:53 | Fsj. My profit on a $100,000 investment is now about $6,000 after two years invested here. | borderterrier1
16/7/2018 17:18 | BT - Grow up mate, this is getting tedious. I and many others a happy with our investment in HUM. Yes there has been some frustration but there is an historical trend that needs to be considered as follows........ One of the main reasons to remain patient is the historical and well documented Life cycle of a Junior Mining share diagram! (See link below)...... My understanding and belief is we are at the optimum point of investment, the base, or thereabouts, of the gentle lift forward in value and subsequent share price ......the diagram in the link has been a template for Junior Miners for decades. However, in order for the diagram to come to fruition the company still needs to reach and achieve milestones, such as: 1. Successful ramp up phase - tick! 2. Hit monthly targets during early quarters of production - speculative tick (hopefully convert to full tick when news lands soon). 3. Continue on track with forecast production numbers - (too early to tick). 4. Cash is managed correctly in the early phase of revenue / building war chest - tick! (HUM's firm desire to pay down debt). 5. M & A - speculative tick (we know HUM are focused on finding new assets). 6. No more dilution / additional debt - tick! (however depends on item 5 above, but knowing HUM's attitude on cash management, i would say we won't see any further dilution or negative debt - debt can be positive given the right kind of acquisition though. But HUM are very good at optimising spend v operational value as has been witnessed during the development and commissioning of Yanfolila. BT - It really is becoming immature and childish now, you have aired your gripe and it is that HUM is slipping back and something doesn't seem right and so on and so forth. GREAT!!! But still only speculation. Bear in mind it is very early still in the production process and shares do not travel north in a straight line. Just remain patient and grown up about your investment or sell with the current profit that you have. It really is that simple. Your posts a bordering (see what i did there) on utter stupidity now......total and utter stupidity.....surely there is an ounce of a decent bloke in you to recognise that you are behaving like a delinquent. | fsjamescampbell
16/7/2018 15:13 | Chip - many thanks - of a lot of interest. I will follow your updates (post-Q2) closely! Brucey | brucey6onus
16/7/2018 15:08 | Fsj. Oh nooooo! I see on the LSE board they are now suggesting that perhaps a "mystery buyer" is mopping up shares for a possible takeover? They are also "suggesting" that it could be Canadian miner Endeavor? Isn't that what I "suggested" about 6 months ago? But I'm just an idiot remember and YOU Fsj are a knowledgeable investor in this company. Just remember this, you only know as much as the Bod want you to know. And for someone who really thinks I am "Terry Border" thank goodness it isn't very much, if anything. Have a GREAT day! | borderterrier1
16/7/2018 14:13 | Brucey, In case it is of any interest. I have a PM stock valuation table listed as Table #2 in the header of the following thread:- As you will see it is loosely based around the valuation method expounded by O'Shaughnessy in his tome 'What works on Wall Street', ie developing a composite score based on five financial metrics. The lower the total score, the more under-valued the stock is. Still too early for HUM to be meaningfully included. I will try to get the table for HUM updated as soon as the 2Q results are out. I normally update Table #2 every week but family commitments have precluded it since mid-June. Hopefully, normal service will be resumed in the Autumn. Chip | chipperfrd
16/7/2018 13:53 | Riley, you're right they all seem to be 50k or add up to 50k clips that may be being exchanged at 31p between IIs, starts to make more sense. | brucey6onus
16/7/2018 13:43 | Just quoted 30.7 to sell Buy just through 31.15 To tight to call,if in fact all those sells Are actually sells | rileyma
16/7/2018 13:21 | Lots of sells today. Looks like "somebody" knows something we don't? Oh, but this is "normal" right, company mouthpiece Fsj? | borderterrier1
16/7/2018 13:05 | Fsj. You really think I'm Terry Border? So, why don't you call/e mail me, idiot? What an ultimate clown you are! | borderterrier1
16/7/2018 13:00 | p.s. Am calling it - 'this is weird' - over one million shares sold so far today and no buys and the MM is manfully soaking them all up without dropping the share price - 'the game is afoot Watson' | brucey6onus
16/7/2018 12:51 | Chip Many thanks for your considered comments. I like it when BBs work and can get the view of someone following 25 miners to my 3 :) I share your view on buying around now - but so far my buy tranches have been @ 33.5p, 33p and 32p, so can see why I'm starting to wonder whether to wait till sub-30p Based only on Mkt Cap (£) and Au production - ASO is aiming to produce about twice what HUM will and it has twice the Mkt Cap, seems valuations are all in the same ball park.(though Hum has proportionately less debt i believe) Thanks and lets hope production update and/or H1 results give the share price lift we all hope for. GLTA Brucey (a nick-name) | brucey6onus
16/7/2018 12:30 | brucey6onus, I hold 25 different gold and silver producers, but the only one that is nearest in terms of stage is ASO. As is typical at this time of the seasonal cycle, all are weak due to the combined effects of the 'sell in May' syndrome and the usual drop in Au and Ag prices on the 'paper' futures & forwards markets. Is it a cause for concern? Not in my opinion as I have seen this scenario play out dozens of times before. Frankly I take the view that it can be an excellent time to buy if market prices drop sufficiently. HUM is still just marking time for me and is probably unlikely to drop to my next buy price. I await 2Q financials with interest as they will be the first set since commercial production. I am not bothered if they do not appear for a few weeks as very few AIM goldies report early. Perhaps HUM will be an exception, we will see. Chip | chipperfrd
16/7/2018 12:02 | I was always taught (if you like the company) then "buy when others are selling" - but this is proving harder than I thought today, don't want to be the only buyer the whole day lol | brucey6onus
16/7/2018 12:00 | If they do 33koz and costs are sub $900 they should rocket. IMO | ukgeorge
16/7/2018 11:44 | Well that aint going to be pleasant is it 20's here we come If they comfirm what we all 'think' they 'should' be ie 33 then it'll be a flat, Could always suprise to the upside | rileyma
16/7/2018 11:42 | UKG - that would be disastrous and you know it. Put on your optimist hat! | charles clore
16/7/2018 11:38 | Rileyma so if production comes in at 25koz and cost at $1,280 you don't think it will make a jott of difference? | ukgeorge
16/7/2018 11:34 | Any day now | rileyma
16/7/2018 11:31 | When are Q2 figures due? | lasata
16/7/2018 11:28 | General mkt me thinks, Aaz another quality play imho Check the latest share price angel note Personnally i dont think the q2 update will make a jott of difference 33k oz is expected ish,its the drilling & dugbe update that'll swing it,plus any other other unexpected rabbits out of the hat All imho, but i'm in the dark like everyone else. | rileyma
16/7/2018 11:27 | Hummingbird has held steady for weeks now, there is no malaise. Compare to other, larger miners - they are very soft shareprice wise. | casual47
16/7/2018 11:09 | Anyone seen a buy this morning? Waiting to pick up my final 50k shares but seems like only downward pressure for now. Has anyone got some other similar stage, pure gold play companies they can tell me the name of so I can do a compare and contrast - is it as some of you say a general malaise for gold miners or hummingbird specific? | brucey6onus |
