I could be completely wrong here - I usually am but I bet HUM mtg is aware of Pageants selling and is waiting before they're out before hitting the market with stonking news - it seems the obvious thing to do

Either way, if management know (they should do) how much Pgnt want to off load, why put a really nice positive RNS into the sell off? Maybe they are waiting for it to be unwound, then off we go with the update....DYOR let's see...

Pageant went below 3%.......approx. 10 million shares on their books still which is being whittled down

like that phrase, but not sure my timing was perfect, but sniping in at this level for me ahead of commercial production and next update after a seller has been selling in size and depressing the price IMO looked a goodie....had to sell some other things to free up spondoolies, but let's see if it was the right thing to do. It's trying to get back inside the bullish wedge. Then it needs to break out of the top. I suspect later this month or early next it will.

I agree catsick.....I reckon people are locked and loaded ready for the next RNS (hopefully positive), let's hope the uptick this morning bodes well for exactly that. Have topped up a few this am and asking near Offer, not got L2, but fingers Xd sellers are drying up....DYOR and GLA

If I was dan I would call up pageant and take his balance of the 2pct he has left at 30p, the last clip is the best one to buy and it will put a line in the sand on where the share price can go, even if we are not commercial yet we will be well positive cash flow and the cash in the bank will be building up, there should be a spare 3m usd in the kitty to take the shares at this cheap price ...

I'm waiting for commercial production before I add. My average has now just edged into negative territory. I think being on Aim means that they are not required to give a quarterly update on finances which is quite frustrating as would dispel or confirm any worries.

I hope that they give an update on progress either this week or early May (with april figures) with actual production numbers (rather than gold in circuit).

Its a drift IMO on the back of the Pgnt selling into market, perhaps they are offloading more....management should really work with broker to attract bigger insti in to just offload the lot IMO, but there you go....until next RNS will continue to drift, perhaps providing top up opportunities, DYOR

Not company specific IMO. Same thing with at least one Oz share I know of on the point of production. Gold shares are not flavour of the month. Must wait on the herd instinct to kick in, methinks.

Why would they need to raise money if they had $40m at the end of 2017 and have produced about 17,000 oz, about half of which was in the last reported month (February)?

Anything less than 9k oz production in the next RNS (assuming we're going to get one soon) will be interpreted as failure and the share price will be hit below 30p. IMV.

Well you are a mug. We do not know that this is a strong company. If they do not get to commercial production soon they will likely need to do a capital raise.
