Bought this morning too. Another good sized director buy on Monday and this share hasn't batted an eye lid during the big plunges. One of the very few so I salute you... UK based HSS shareholders for giving the US the big finger.

There has been strong demand around that 16.5p mark but that director buy must have come from Tosca. Again, no idea how many they want to sell but they are getting close to being cleared.

Still no word on who picked up the other shares but surely can't be an offer if there is director buying.

All imo

10:11 EDIT

There are a few bigger orders popping up here at 17.6p, not seen activity like this since buying here so maybe keep an eye on those to see if these big orders keep popping up.

More large orders leaping those orders at 17.6p....anomalous activity here

FinnCap research -[...][...]

Digital change is sweeping across nearly every industry, accelerated by the pandemic. Construction has long been viewed as slow to change and at the back of the queue in terms of technological innovation, reinforced by ageold problems of contract issues and inefficiencies.

But as our latest Support Services Insights research shows, there are pockets of change and expertise in the supply chain, especially if we consider the Equipment Hire space.

A number of players operate a B2C and B2B model alongside each other. Success in the B2C world requires rapid innovation in customer interaction and service extending into fulfilment and the back office. Progress and lessons that can then be applied in the B2B world.

Not invested yet but finding all the large shareholding changes interesting!
Still dont understand Tosca selling now when it appears that with the refinancing the business has a much more promising future.

What's interesting here is that there is no rns yet for the acquirer. In itself this probably means the tosca stake has been spread about which I take as a positive as it's means share register is now much broader that it was.

Has he seen Tosca clearing and thought he better get back in quick too then?

Maybe that suggests there is greater risk reward here and a re-rating higher when Tosca clear out or at least clear out what they want. Perhaps a strong trading update coming too then?

Looking at the holding announcements Tosca cut from 11.84% to 10.94% on the 11th and Ravensworth added 2% on the 13th so if my math is correct...hang on...

...

...

So Tosca should be down to at least 8.94% as at the 13th without trying to unravel all the other big blocks gone through. If they are anywhere near 5% or under, I think the market will gobble the rest up and Tosca might even hold back some to lob at a higher price.

Let's see the next holding announcements on moves.

This has been tipped too. There are streams of buys coming in together. It nearly always means it has been tipped.

Price is trying to break out higher. I would love to be able to say we mimic that move in March-April last year, but I really don't know. It would be encouraging if we close at the highs here or push on through.

Talk about hope for HSS!

Right, I have said enough here. We all know the drill now. Don't want to be a parrot.

Alan Peterson

Well strange move on his behalf.

In Oct he sold his entire holding in the company, I think there was a quote he would buy back in when he could.

I do note he sold out at a slightly higher price, than he bought back in at!!!

Good news anyway to see a re purchase.

Chunky director buy here.

1.5m bought at 16.6p.

Nibbled a few more on that.

Encouraging.

Notification out for reductions by Tosca on the 11th Jan but not the big exchanges yesterday.

Hi Tole and rumbers2,

You're both too kind :-)

I get things wrong too! And too many flashing lights in that social media world. Alot of drama on there too. I can't be doing with drama, had more than my fair share so happy to just post here now and again.

I will stick to ADVFN and posting anything that might be interesting. Then it is over to folk as to whether anything appeals to them in shorting the absolute hell out of what I bought.

So we have closed up 4.4%, which is very muted. That doesn't suggest Tosca are completely out. Either that or other sellers are taking the opportunity to sell some too.

Can't call it exactly. We will find out shortly via RNS what the exact situation is, but it is very significant activity off which price moves happen.

Looking for another strong trading statement (small forecast beat last time in November) and then a re-rating to at least 20p. I'll do the usual sell too early as per last year :-)

Hopefully this is the right call!

*Prays*

Ha

Onwards!

If Sphere were on social media he would have a huge following mimicking his every move. His light is well and truly hidden under this outmoded bushel. But long may he stay.

Good to see you in Sphere.. Agree that share price definitely appeared artificially suppressed by Tosca.I believe there is a good recovery story here anyway.
